The post 9/11 "lynch-mob" mentality and its supporters

The FaithFreedom.org site, one of the many sites that reflect old time Christian evangelical propaganda against Islam, are taking advantage of the post 9/11 negative sentiments generated against Islam and are universally condemning Muslims as criminals. In doing so, the tactics being used are similar to those that were used by lynch mobs of old. None of the arguments that the person running the site presents would get a second hearing, intellectually speaking, because they lack logical formulation and rely on sources, in most cases other than the only reliable source of Islam, the Qur'an.

The "lynch-mob" mentality of alarmism is also not justified the number of terrorist acts committed by those who claim to be Muslims and in the "name of Islam" as a percentage of the total number of Muslims, even as a percentage of the total number of crimes committed in the world, are statistically insignificant as cause. The numbers of people harmed by such acts (of criminals) are also far less than the number that have been killed in the name of "democracy and freedom" and free markets. Islam according to the Quran, contrary to what he is presenting, has the strongest organized social justice component within its system, compared to other religions (see http//interest.rationalreality.com). The emphasis it places on every single human life, comparing one to all of humanity (see 532) is also unsurpassed in world literature.

Those who study Islam and its history, know that the sources that he quotes, the Hadith of Bokhari and Muslim and others, date from around 200 years after the prophet. Muslims, those who study Islam, like the Quran asks them to, would reject those immediately (see http//hadith.rationalreality.com). Just because many believe in them dogmatically does not mean that Muhammed said those words or that those words are what Islam is. That removes a major chunk of his arguments against Islam, which by the way have been used for hundreds of years but he claims to have invented them anew. Most of the rest of what he does has to do with Ad Hominem arguments against the prophet and clipping from the Quran, bits and pieces of verses clipped not only out of their context but out of their sentence as well. The clipped verses are then presented with his long interpretations or a photograph that is supposed to elicit an automatic response.

Now, instead of wasting time trying to dupe people, spending countless hours doing it while over 40,000 human beings die every day due to preventable causes in the world (like starvation and disease), this self-proclaimed "humanitarian" would do better to look at the socio-economic, political and military links that produce this misery in a world system dominated by the US power elite and not the "phantoms" he has constructed.

Brother, it only reflects their lack of knowledge. These people are no different than BNP. Its either bukhari, or their twisted interpretation of the Quran. I knew a guy who converted from christianity. He cried becoz he was so happy that he has finally accepted the true religion of mankind. He used to be a hater of islam. But now, its like a totally new person. And like the faithfreedom clowns, he used to talk bad about the christians traditions. Eventually, he came to the path of God and devoted his time getting closer to Allah. God bless him.

I actually feel pity for people like the ones who run faithfreedom.org becoz they could be doing other 100 useful things and they choose to do the most useless thing they could with their life.

          salam bro Jaxal .
i agree with you . FFI is sick from head to toe . take a look at their main page , how they are insulting the Muslim women . FFI is BS .

I'd say a group of us shud register on their message board and debate about their idiotic logic and reasoning. Anyone up for it I would do it on my own but I need more support so we can at least try and show them the mirror so they realise how ugly they are wink

            PEACE

Those who started Faithfreedom are Ex-Muslims who know Islam well, so they will have no troubles debating you

Sunnis say the same thing. When i was a sunni, i debated with christians all the time and shut them up. Not really proud of doing that becoz i feel bad for the underdog. But, debating with christians was easy, it will be even easier debating with an Ex-Muslim. No pun intended. http//www.geocities.com/bigjaxal/s1.gif

If you think debating Victims of Islam will be easy, I wish you luck because many there still have painful memories of being a muslim..

                  One example

I still remember her black eyes; she stared at the sky while she was dug into the ground. She was wrapped in white sheets and her hands were tide to her body. She was buried up to her waist. The rabid mob circled her with stones in their hands and started throwing them at her while the roars of Allah-u-Akbar Allah-u-Akbar added to their frenzy. She twitched with pain as the stones hit her tender body and smashed her head. Blood gushed out from her face, cheeks, mouth, nose and eyes. All she could do was to bend to the left and to the right. Gradually the movements slowed down and finally she stopped moving even though the shower of the stones did not stop. Her head fell on her chest. Her bloodied face remained serene. All the pain had gone. The hysteric mob relented and the chant of Allah-uAkbar stopped. Someone approached and with a big boulder in his hand smashed the scull of my sister to finish her off. There was no need for that; she was already dead. Her bright black eyes that beamed with life were shut.

I dont need luck to debate with any ex-muslim or christian. Ive done it, and ive shut them all up. As i said, im not really proud of this behaviour. Its funny about the "painful memroy". Ive known convert who have cried their eyes out. I guess thats just the way it is. As for the men who stoned this woman, they are not muslims.
