No, not really. However, it appears people do such things when they have no understanding of what is going on. Clearly Jaxal equates denouncing with renouncing. They are too different words. Renouncing is what he thinks I'm saying, when I said denouncing all along. Goes to show what happens when people do not pay attention and do not make an effort to look up words they do not understand.

Look brother, you accused me of saying that people who denounce their faith should be shot. I have not said that, altho if i were a sunni, i would have no problem with it. but anyways, what that guy was doing is not denouncing. Perhaps you should choose your words wisely. Lets see what denouncing means

If that editor or jounralist was condemming islam to be evil, then he would be dead right now. You and i both know that. He wasnt accusing it, we know that too. And he wasnt announcing tht he is ending his belief as a muslim ( that is IF he was a muslim in the first place ). What he was doing is in a way preaching to others that it is OK to leave submission to Allah. So you see, it is you who is responsible for your own embarassment. Your fault. Not mine.

I am in agreement with you. There have been many times when he has done the same and then totally refused to accept lack of comprehension. It's an exercise in restraint to be carrying on a discussion in such a situation.

When I ask questions I do not get a return question instead of an answer. This is what you are doing. How often do people ask someone a question "What did you do today?" and get a return question "What did you do in class?" and expect to be answered when they have not taken any time to answer?

But with you, its a miracle if you even reply. So again, blame urself for this. Not me. Your fault. Not mine. Had you answered my question long time ago, we wouldnt even be saying all this. Actions of consiquences. Consiquences that stay with you. You need to learn that. So, answer my question, like you SHOULD have done days ago, and i will answer yours. If not, then it doesnt really matter.

It may be that bipolar disorder of yours kicking in. Of course if you do have bipolar disorder and were diagnosed as such the symptoms are sure to be severe to impair social functioning. You are reponsible because you choose not to answer and because you think you asked first. That focus is just not there. A symptom of your disorder. I'd suggest you see a doctor so that maybe he/she can prescribe you with some lithium carbonate along with an antipsychotic. I'm sorry for getting on you about ignoring posts and for those other things. Now that I know you're bipolar I'll keep in mind that you have certain issues that must be taken into account.

Those crushed/worthless feelings may be the depressive side setting in.

I do not know. It has come up often however. I do not make it an issue to try and figure you out because you are of no interest to me. I do not address the constant inquery because I know you have trouble focusing on what people say. I used one incident of yours to bring to the fore the importance of the punishment for thieves. Not to have you or me bicker about whether you said it or not. Remember you relayed some stories about your past and I wanted to understand how you can say that the punishment should not be implemented when that's what it is . Then I compared it to you endorsing the killing of those who say people may leave islam even when the quran in this instance does not. It was not to focus on that, but on the punishment for thieves. So if we can stay focused on the topic of punishment for theft instead of this emotional trip of yours let's have a go at it.
