We should not be Anti-Hadith

Our real protests against the Hadeeth should only be the following

They are taken as if they were the direct words of Muhammad when they are rumors that span over 100 years. (But that is the case with most of our accounts of history)

Their integrity and method of authentication is faulty.

They are hypocritically used to interpret the Koran (the Koran's decisiveness and specificity being degraded) when the Koran is more historical than they are.

The Koran is never read and investigated first, and preffered over the hadeeth in all matter. The opposite habitually occurs, and only lipservice is paid to the acknowledgement that the Koran should always be prefered over the Hadeeths.

According to the Koran Muhammad (God bless him) had no place to explain the Koran, only to expose it openly, clearly and to judge (as all should) with it. But it is too often claimed that Muhammad was the perfect explainer of the Koran, and the one who knew best about it.

We protest Muhammad's being revered over Abraham, Jesus, Moses, and all of God's prophets and messengers (God bless them all).

We also protest the fac that terms "the prophet" and "the messenger" are only used for Muhammad, giving him prefrence over God's other prophets and messengers. God bless and honor them all!
As a warning to all those here trying to refocuse or just focus on the Koran
We should not be against the hadeeth only because they are after the Koran or only because they are outside of the Koran. We should be against them for the abovenumbered reasons.

This is my last post to this listserve. After this post I am forever done. I see no point here. These debates will go on and on forever and logic will not be heard. With that said, "Ayman, I am not using the message to justify my points I was using the evidence that the book points out.' I really don't think you will understand this and so have no real reason to futher discuss it. All I can say is thutat if what I have said concerns you in some way you look over what I said again and think about where you may be wrong. I am not using the ideas or beliefs that the Koran states but the contextual evidence that it gives of what was going on at that time to prove my point. Think about that, respond if you want but I am revoking my membership from this list. May God continue to bless all of you and may he continue to guide you all.
