Clockwork Orange

In our Western Civilizations class, our teacher was talking about this book called "Clockwork Orange". Maybe some of you have read it.
I didn't read it and the following information is vague and possibly inaccurate. It is based on what the teacher talked about in class (for about 5 minutes). We were reading about the renaissance idea that humans are greater than animals because they have free will.It is about this criminal who has killed and raped several people. When the police finally catch this person, the gov't decides to conduct and experiment on him. They show him pornographic images, and at the same time inject him with a drug that makes him nauseous. Then they give him a weapon and at the same time inject him with the drug.
Then they test him...
They all gather in a room and bring in a nude woman who tries to seduce him. This makes him nauseous and he turns away. (it worked!)
then they give him a gun and tell him to shoot. When he tries to, he suddenly feels sick and no longer can. (it really worked!).
So now the gov't people are all real happy, but then a party pooping Priest stands up and says that although the experiment worked, the man is no longer a human being because he can't make his own choices. They have turned him into an animal.

oh and to counter the dialogue that will come. Animals do not rape eachother like we do. They are not left as emotional wrecks. And in the only species i know of where it can happen (monkeys) it is by large a social thing, thus not against their "society" standards. nor do they kill for mere pleasure. We eat fruit and greens when were hungry becasue they are so eacy to catch. To a cougar an antilope is an apple, and it doesnt kill it to "get off".
Even cats, a very used example, does not play with the mouse because it evil. But because it likes to get high on adrenaline supposedly. -

Yes! What that proves is the RECEPTIVITY of the nafs(spirit). This is the basis of salaat. The human can be PROGRAMMED to do ANYTHING! )
There have been many such experiments. In fact, turn on the TV and be part of another one )
I'll let you in on something, MOST of us dont make our own choices, we are ruled by our conditionings, just like that guy. That guy probably watched endless murders on TV and music vidoes with women dancing half naked or porno movies where the girls say yes everytime. That is no different from the obese person who watches commercials of Oreo Cookies and Doritos all day. He doesnt make his chpices wither, he is PUSHED by energies in his spirit(emotions). This is why we are here studying this message, because it is teaching us how to transcend these emotons(shayteen) and to make them work for us like Solomon did.
Lastly, just as they changed that guy, they can change him back. The human spirit can be shaped to do ANYTHING. Thats why you always see people watching the news and saying "I thought I have seen it all, how can a person do such a thing". We all are capable of all things.

The Clockwork Orange. One of my all time favourite movies. The book was awesome as well. It deals with a lot of things but I guess you should read it if you haven't or watch the movie.
