Nuzulul Qur'an

Peace people,

Just realized that in some traditionalists celebrate today as Nuzulul Qur'an, the day the Qur'an was sent down.

What I don't understand is there should be no such thing as 'the day the Qur'an was sent down'! Even by traditionalist histories, the Qur'an is revealed in stages, obviously on different days and times.

Another contradiction, I think.

What is the difference between Nuzul Al-Quran and Laylatul Qadar. Both of them refers to a time where the Quran is sent down, but it happend in different times in the traditional calender?
