Can we have 4 wives?

I do not personally believe that a man can have four wives, and nither do my wife. I think according to the Quran this is only allowed under some circumstances, such as war. Why these fat Shakhs marry 4 woman?
Please make your comment. I believe that with support we can help those ladies who have been supressed by the people who due to their selfishness been trying to alter our understanding of the Quran. I also believe that it is not the nature of a woman to see her man with another women, same is true with the man. Allah would neven have commanded something which is against the nature of women.

58 wives??? shock God forbid, that's a personal harem! Poor women, this guy must be a Saudi Hugh Heffner wannabe. He must be filthy rich as well to support such an household. I can't imagine how many children he must have.... ?

He doesn't even make his marriage public and known which is clearly haraam! Allah clearly tells us to marry our spouses so we wont live in shame (i.e. in secretness).
And on another note, for his kids sake, I'm sure he knows how many kids he has... maybe I am just saying that for my own conscious of fear of child neglect. lol.
And wow, it's the fourth one who is usually replaced? Wow, what are these families thinking?! Obivously he is only breaking virgins in (such as that 14 yr old girl) and throwing them back out where there is the strong chance of them not being worth anything becuase of loss of virginity (i say strong chance becuase I don't want to be too stereotypical and I like to keep hope alive, but sadly alot of us really know the truth).

Uhh polygany is really a sticky issue. It really is. There are so many interperations, rules, etc, etc to it. I don't know. Hopefully someone can give you a more detailed response.

It is really ugly I can't say enough, but not uncommon here. Poor families, and there are many, fall for that and just sell their daughters for few pennies.

See that's the thing, I can totally see the guy/s doing this kinda stuff. But what blows me away is the parents who give away their 14 year old daughter to this guy! shock As you said, they sell her for a miserable price... just like the guys who sold Yusuf, I guess.
