      Salam.

I am from Malaysia. His Book "Hadis Satu Penilaian Semula" or Hadith A Re-Evaluation is first publish in Malaysia in 1986. But it is quickly banned in Malaysia by the religious authority and his teaching of 'Anti-Hadith' is declared deviant from the the accepted 'Ahlul Sunnah Wal Jamaah'.

The campaign to degrade him and his Anti-Hadith teaching is a success whereas if you ask any ordinary muslim in Malaysia about him they will say that "He is astray, he is anti-hadith"

Before this he is forbidden to write in newspaper or magazine, but now the banned had ease and he is now free
to express his view, this is his blog.

Imagine, what will happen if his book is not banned, I'm sure a revolution in Malaysia Muslim mindset to longheld believe will happen. But the idea is so radical that the unity of Muslim in Malaysia is at stake.

Personally, I think the approach to devalue hadith is not proper here, It is better to have a campaign to buy and read the Qur'an Translation since most Malay just read the Qur'an without understanding anything.

      Thanks.
