Doha Debates

I recently learned about an interesting program called Doha Debates. I heard it is broadcast on BBC World. Honestly, Im quite startled that debates that involve sensitive and very interesting subjects such as the veil, separation of mosque and state and curse of oil in the Mideast are held in the program. It seems the oil rich Arab gulf states have left behind their Middle Eastern neighbors in terms of free speech.
