Abraham Sacrificing Problem

Hello People!!
I've got debate with some hardcore Christians who were Muslims and I need your help. They say that
Muslims think that it is ok when Allah tested Ibrahim to sacrifice his son and they praised Ibrahim for his unselfish act for Allah and want to be like him. But when Christians say that God sacrificed His Son for the sake of men, then they ask why would God do that? How "munafik"!
They quote this verse to prove that God tested Abraham but I always thought it was Shaitan who tempted Abraham into believing its a test. But the underlined words say otherwise
"So when they had both submitted their wills (to God), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice), we called out to him, `O Abraham! Thou hast already fulfilled thy vision'- thus indeed do we reward those who do right. For this was obviously a trial - And we ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice ..." (Surah 3799-106).
