    Salaam All!

    Does any one really know?
Does it say in the Quran or in the Hadiths?
The reason I ask,is mainly curiosity because I heard one time that a hadith saidWhich one is the Prophet and one of his companions answered the one over there laying on the ground with his arms outstretched showing his white under arms; or something to that affect...

      Peace

      Does any one really know?

I'd say probably himself, the people who saw him, and the Supreme Being.

          Salam alaikum,

Interesting compilation from Harun Yahya here

          http//www.theprophetmuhammad.org/appearance.html

He uses hadeeths and other sources to obtain descriptions of what Muhammad may have looked like.

Depending on your opinion of the hadeeth, you may find the descriptions slightly romanticized (or generalized), but they are worth reading in any event, for someone who wants to know the classical/traditional view.

          -)
