    Peace be upon you KGB,

Backbiting was not the only example extended to you to answer, but it seems it is the only one you addressed.

What about making peace between muslims?

Also, can you show me ONE EXAMPLE of a prophet or messenger speaking disrespcetfully?

      Peace Be Upon You Kyle,

You did not read my reply to Enquirer. I also said that I have no intentions of getting into discussion with Enquirer.

Ask these liberals to learn to respect the words of God and respect the person who is brining out the clear message to prove his point.

I remember you also said that you are done with this topic. wink

        Peace all,

I think some things need to be clarified here. There are two issues. One of being crass towards someone using unnecessary vulgarity and the other...the pressing issue of people giving opinions on threads where people ask for a quranic response and debate. This has been happening for quite some time and is annoying to put it mildly. I have some questions for people...

On many threads that require an answer from a quranic standpoint, I'm seeing opinions from people who don't believe the quran to be authentic let alone one God, inclusive of some who funnily enough haven't even read the quran, yet stumble in for some chat time...

I would understand this to be-

        a) We want you to question yourself and what you believe in!

That's fine, just don't interfere with discussions that require a quranic response then, yet this goes on unabated these days. If it was me starting a thread requiring a quranic response and the thread devolved into yet another 'why must we follow the quran?' and 'Hmm what is God after all'... I would be rightly pi$$ed.

        b) We want to learn from you!

From what I've read, this is really not going on...questions regarding the quran alone stance are not being asked, rather...let's go to something better, the quran is archaic...a copy of other manmade religions.

        c) We want to teach you!

Right. Same response as 'a' then.

        d) Why the heck are we even doing this, if not any of the above responses, on a forum that espouses God alone based on the quran?

You got me. I was wondering the same thing.

The underlying point is...it has people wondering where all the serious quran based discussions have gone to...

          Peace brother,

          Keep it up

There are a lot of people here who try to portray that we don't need God's words or some go as far as we don't need God. Truly humans are arrogant creatures.
          Peace

God never spoke any words to any man. All Scripture is an INspiration from within.

          Regards,

Peace KGB. you dont need to discuss with me. If you are delivering the clear message just translate those verses i gave to you for the benefit of
the message to the forum. if you dont want to,are you not guilty of hiding clear verses? Im using your own logic. its not pleasant is it? I mean no harm or disrespect to you,and i wish you well. Can you not see how simplifications and entrenched opinions can be harmful? How are you convincing me about the value of the quran when you do not even justify your behaviour with verses? I am open-minded to what you may say.
Peace and respect to you,ab and all.

peace lote-tree. I think many people are missing your excellent point about inspiration.
Peace nabi and savage-carrot. If threads on just opinions from the quran are needed then just state this on the top of the thread clearly, and people can know to keep a distance. By the way how did the messengers teach? With their own converts or to the general public as well? And did they run away from difficult questions? I thought the forum was open to everyone?
                      Peace all.

Just keep in mind that the best way to strength of your faith as well as aquire a deeper understanding of it and how it truly effects the person you are, is to have it challenged by others

Just remember that faith should be more than what you have memorized from a book or even what you understand of it. Fath should be a practicle thing that has a direct effect on your life and how you react to others.

Awesome question! Not many people bother with the 'purpose' of the forum/website and maybe delve upon the deeper meanings of "General Issues/ Questions". General Issues/Questions regarding God alone based on the quran? Or General Issues/Questions about chitter chatter? There is an Off Topic section made specially for this purpose...too bad it doesn't keep the idle chatter from spewing all over the place.

Peace sawtooth. Truly wise words my friend. Our faith in things should stand up to scrutiny(and rational challenge). It should also(eventually) have an influence on our behaviour which is positive, decent and beneficial for all people that we meet.
                              Peace all.

to answer your question above, sure here is the Quran answering you, we read in Prophet Noah story while he was building the Ark, that his people were mocking him, Noah responded by mocking them as they moked him, apply this on my case with PM, she mocked me first and I defended myself by mocking her second

"Forthwith he (starts) constructing the Ark Every time that the chiefs of his people passed by him, they threw ridicule on him. He said 'If ye ridicule us now, we (in our turn) can look down on you with ridicule likewise!'"

                                    " "

Clear as light bro, the arabic word is Sakhara which means to Mock or to Embarrass

                                    I rest my case bro

                                    peace be with you

you totally missed what it is all about

firstly God does does not want the humans to engage in name calling, I believe this is in personal matters, but if it is religiouosly linked, then Allah ordered us to respond tough

PM clearly mocked me using the Quran, therefore it is religiously linked and I can also consider it mocking the Quran in addition to mocking me.

exactly as Noah's people did, they mocked him religioulsy as if what he is doing is laughable and there is no God to punish neither to save any.

exactly as they are mocking prophet mohammad now. (religiously linked)

the true muslims must respond tough and on the same manner as the perpetrators did and can't be ignored (if it is religiously linked)

see, how you missed what i wrote

                                        salam

Looks like he needs another pat in the back. He actually used QURANIC VERSES to justify his vulgar comments. Thats sticking to Quran discussion in the thread, aint it?

I so cant believe this nonsense.
Is anyone allowed to have a difference of opinion? Or Will they get 'Righteously' pounded with 'vulgar remarks'?

What's with the backlash? ? Is anyone else allowed to have a different opinion?... or is that reserved for homosexuals only. roll

                                          Talk about homophobia phobia! lol

Peace people, let's continue the discussion civilly... yes that goes for everyone, me included.

And does such call for fairness come only for people u agree with?

Ps sorry for the sarcasm, but the encouragement of such language is disturbing.

                                          Peace!
