    peace be upon those who have found the 'truth'.
    )
    my real name is rifat and i am 16 years old. i was born in a small country in southeast asia called bangladesh and when i was 11 years old i came to america. i was really depressed to come to america and start a new life. things started to change rapidly, i lost my father and my sister got married. i only lived with my brother and my mother. i didn't know much about religion until one day 'the gehovah's witnesses' came to our house and claimed that " we heard that from our church that you have lost your father and we are here to help you, only if you let us in". my mom is a very religious person, so she thought that if we learn about their religion maybe we could have a good conversation. so they came to us regularly and they would read to us from the bible. at the end of their speech they wold pray and bow down and say that prayer which i now know is 'transgression'. "my mom would not bow down though" but they managed me to bow down. to gain some insuranse$ for my late father, my family went back to bangladesh and there, i learned about "sunniism/what i used to follow upon arrival to this website". i really cried and cried because my 'islamic teacher' told me that allah doesn't forgive transgression so from that point i was really ashamed and i started to pray five times. meanwhile i acquired great wisdom about my religion/sunniism/which i used to follow. when i came back to the united states, a GREAT FEELING OF HATRED WAS BURNING TOWARDS ME ABOUT CHRISTIANITY. twisted why? primarily 1. the concept of christ sacrificeng his life for the sin of others indirectly tells you that christians can do anything if theyhave faith in christ..... so he can forgive you. at school i was treated with GREAT HATRD after 9/11(i should'nt even mention why) and my logic then concluded that 9/11 was planned because christians hate muslims and so on.... so i was mentally ready for those so-called "jehovah's witnesses" i challenged a lot of their theories and they just shut up ! but later they brought reinforcements ! then some time passed and they still knocked on our door and we wouldn't answer( the process didn't stop until we moved to connecticut). meanwhile i was introduced to puberty so after a while i stopped praying and following "sunnism" because (since back then i could'nt distinguish between the hadith and the quran and i have been learning a lot of hadith about not looking at girls but it made the process irresistible for me so i gave up on what i used to believe 'meaning that i just stopped praying') some more time passed..... and i went back to bangladesh and the process was all over again..... i felt sorry for having engaged in pornography!!! and came back to america with strong anti-western will/sentiment, then i came to connecticut. at newington high( which is the same high school my good friend phoenix1 goes to) pupils didn't bother me much about being a muslim except i argued about faith with 1 kid i said, "why do you guys believe in jesus when he changes, allah never changes nor does he have a form/physical appearence" that kid hated me for a while, in the month of ramadhan, he said, why do you fast? i said, because it's beneficial(my faith then was a mixture of hadith and quran so don't be surprised) he replied, nothing is beneficial. my anti-christian sentiment was all over again cry ...... oh this reminds me... in eighth grade, back when i was in florida i was eating my lunch and i said out loud "bismillahir rahmanir-rahim" two of my classmates came and said, what did you say? i replied, "in the name of allah the most merciful benefactor" then he started yelling as if he had a disease in his heart NO, IT'S JESUS!!!! we argued for a while, i did not report to the teacher because inside i was convinced that the teacher was backing them up!!!! now, all of you free-minds people KNOW why i hated christianity sooo muuuch!!!! becausethe moment i arrived in america all the people "mean-looked" at me as if i don't belong here and not to mention they can commit any sin they want..... refer to my christ-sacrificial ideology, please... so back to that newington kid, i started writing him letters explicating why islam(my old sunni mixed type) is right for you. he replied all of them confidently, and he wrote "may god's grace be with you" after a while i felt like i went to an islamic jihad and lost..... so i wrote an apology letter and we became sort-of friends... not to mention all we talk about is religion at our lockers at school... some time passed, my life was nothing but a series of cycles... 5-time prayer then no timeprayer.... but one they pheonix1 came up to me and said, the islam you believe in is not true... for some strange reason i didn't OBJECT him or question him and he told me how he felt.... (read his evolution forum... quite interesting despite the fact i have a different theory of evolution... do you recall the verse of the quran in the 2nd sura which directly says 'be despicable apes" i apologize for incorrect source citation but i really think that that was the origin of 'primates') anyways, at school he told other 'muslims' the same thing he told me and they said, rifat do not get 'brainwashed by that website' and they rejected. i was the oonly friend in school to listen to phoenix1 ! i rejected him the second time he invited me to "free-minids.org" i was really confused he told me to be patient and RECITE the quran IN ENGLISH.true enough, i might have been a very religious person but i DID not read the whole quran in my own language (despite the fact that i have my own copy at home i only understood the first 5 suras and sura noor "my favorite sura"). i asked phoenix1 questions like every faithful sunni would object when first introduction to this 'new islam' like" this isn't fully detailed...bla bla bla.. and his reply was guess what the quran says it is the only source of islam and he told me a whole bunch of other stuffs which told me to read the quran alone. so that's how i was introduced to this site D D D ! ! ! and it took me till february 2006 to finally unlock my heart through great wisdom, ideology and experience... hope reading this article was worth your time and journey.

            i thank you guys for taking the time to read my story. ifeel that this article should be posted at 'how you feel towards other faiths' as well because it reveals how i dealt with christians. now i read and comprehend the quran pretty well i automatically depleted 'the hadith & contradictioins' from my life. and the answer to your question is that 'i speak good english with a very good accent because in florida, i felt i was subject to racism so in order to 'fit in' i watched endless hours of american cartoon and practiced my english accent. D

                may peace be upon you phoenix1/waleed,

                well, you see i came to connecticut starting 10th grade and i met him in my study hall. HE WAS HOLDING A QURAN. i came up to him and said,"are you a muslim" and that's how this whole 'fake-friendship' began. carlos gonzalez is currently a sophomore and his locker is right next to mine. he is very sneaky and 100% christian. he is a complete antagonist, anything you say that is not even part of the bible and is "anti-christ" he will come bite you with tottal force. it's what he said still bothers me a little....... he said, "i shouldn't say the quran is false, it is .... um.... INACCURATE" i didn't worry about it much because back then i would accuse him of being an infidel but now, i know BOTH PERSPECTIVES he would call me an infidel as well for not having faith on 'christ' but i am not worried about it either... i told him about this site and i told him that all of the previous statement's you said about islam are INACCURATE.. and his reply was, "now that you are an agnostic, be careful though 'cause agnostic is pretty close to atheism".....

                by the way, your little analogy you told me DOES make sense..... the thing is that i feel we are still missing some link to this...... and the fact that
                you have come to know who it was amongst you that transgressed the sabbath, we said to them "be despicable apes"
                (264) i think that this was the origin of primates, and if you compare my 'theory of evolution' with scientific facts IT WILL MAKE SENSE.

                by the way, is it true that turkey has underwent evolution to become 'quranistan'?

                  thankyou for not using my real name and protecting my privacy.
                  well, now that everyone does know my real name, i can tell everyone what my real name is. Its( drum )Waleed.
                  the reason i didn't post my real name here was because i was trying to not let certain people(some of whom are members of my family) know that i was reading and posting stuff on this site. But i don't really care anymore.

                  And about apes, you're wrong. The fact that it says "despicable apes" means that there was such a thing called "apes" when that incident happened.
                  And i think its pretty obvious that that's not what happened because scientific observations show something else.
