Reactions to Cartoons: Distinctions among the Messengers?

Are Muslims reacting over the cartoons rasing the status of the prophet above other prophets, which is not allowed? I have never heard them protesting over the cartoons of Moses and Jesus? I am against the cartoons, especially when they start have to put a bomb in the turban, which suggest to me that Muslims are the terrorists, which is clearly wrong. Regarding normal (friendly) cartoons of prophets, I am (slightly) equally oppose to all of them, whether they are against Muhammad, Jesus, Moses or Confucious etc etc.

Peace bmbmm and all. Thats an excellent point doctor ! (distinction between messengers).Jesus is regularly depicted humorously(or maybe even offensively) in the media,why little muslim reaction?
What about atrocities like 9-11,7-7 and beslan? etc... Where was the reaction from muslims when so many innocent people suffered death and pain? Many junior school children were killed in beslan in the name of islam,why little publicised reaction from muslims? And we wonder why people think elements of islam are associated with terrorism? I think those cartoons should make us realise what we will be perceived as if we dont start to condemn terrorism.(mental and physical). And look at the rioting because of these cartoons. It almost proves the cartoons were right.Do we have to over-react to criticism?(whether the criticism is valid or not).Why cant we explain our stand on these cartoons, and what islam means in a peaceful,tolerant and/or decent way? Do scientists riot when they refute or criticise each others theories?

It is a cartoonist's habit of viewing anything, leave alone hadiths. Definitely none can caricature the Quran. So who to blame?
Everything can be subject to caricature...it is how you create it and how you respond to it that determines the outcome of it....
