How is the Soul connected to our Biological body?

I always think that there is a soul, as according to the quran. But if you say there isn't I will believe you if you show me some evidence.
Perhaps I haven't explained myself clearly. My apologies. In my opinion, there is certainly a soul - no question about it.

The royal we means I/we and Allah so it does not solve the problem of who is this other one/are these others speaking with/for Allah. The "WE" are the sifatullah. And since Ruhullah mn Allah is one of the Sifatullah and it has been breathed into each and every created system, and without which we will die, then by it, the sifatullah become closer to us than our jugular veins which although unheard of at the time of revelation if cut, does not necessarily mean death thanks to emmergency service rapid reaction inshallah. But take away the Ruhullah mn Allah and even the most healthy individual in perfect physical condition will instantly die.
As for the soul. If you mean Ruh then it is explained already. If you mean Nafs then our bodies (along with Ruhullah mn allah) and perhaps many other things discussed by philosophers and psychologists make up part of each person's Nafs (identity).

In my opinion, there are several levels of understanding which this ayah(5016) denotes. Most prominent, in my eyes, is the following.
First, "And we created the human".
The understanding is obvious"We know what his self whispers to him"
This, I believe, is talking about inner dialogue between the self/ego, and the soul."We are closer to him than his jugular vein."
Here, a spiritual concept has been laid out in physical terms. Whether "habli alwareedi" refers to the jugular vein or the vena cava is arguable, but irrelevant. What is relevant is that this reference indicates a physical mechanism deep within the body.Now, we must ask, what can be "closer" than a physical mechanism within the body?
My understanding is that this is a clear reference to the unity of our essence. We are connected to the divine at a level beyond what we can see, touch, feel, hear, or smell. The connection is deeper, even, than our internal organs. It is our soul that is in direct connection to the divine.
Any physical attribute that we can ponder exists only at the periphery level. These are all extensions from within, or, rather, the vehicle that the soul inhabits. They are "outside" of the soul, and this includes the mind/brain.

peace all. I currently think that all matter has awareness,and as such all matter is a soul. Scientists used to think that all matter was composed of one indivisible common element(atoms) but then they discovered electrons etc.. I currently think that the soul is the lowest common denominator of being and cannot be destroyed but can move to different dimensions.Whether the soul can change form i do not yet know. One reason why we may not be able to detect the soul visibly is that it may be too small to see at present,but in the future we may be able to see it. Some philosophies state that everything is light(or energy)and so the photon or particle of light may be the smallest particle of light and this could be the soul.If everthing is light this also means god is light which some philosophies also state,as well as the quran.(2435). I have to think more on these topics to come to a more solid understanding,but it is a very interesting topic.
