Personally, I feel there is much emphasis here on what people claim to be rather than what they actually are. There are some here who quote Quran in every other post, but yet their behaviour down here doesnt seem to reflect Quran at all. Same goes for some of the 'so-called' muslims in the world.
Correct. I think these whole debates are often a game and messaging exercise for their egos. If the behaviour reflected the Quran then (i) May actually believe what they say (ii) Actually understand what they often quote.

Peace mquran...Unquranic,uncivil accusations without evidence...? o Any proof of these lies you claim are being told?...do you know peoples intentions? Are your mistakes/shortcomings in interpretating the quran,lies too?... (you know proof,which you always ask other people to give in huge quantities.) I will elaborate for your convenience. Last year, peacefulmuslim made a statement about al-quraan which was duly proven to be contradictory to al-quraan's teachings. However, pm has never given evidence that this teaching existed nor has retracted her statement. That would have taken humility, sure.
If you want to talk about good manners, well I think its bad manners to hurl accusations and yet when others answer them (as Caveman Doctor pointed out), refuse to answer. That's a show of INdecency for wasting the time of other people who are there to sincerely discuss with you.

And do you expect me to take your 'unverified' word for it,that peacefulmuslim was in the wrong? (where is your research and evidence?,once again you have not produced it,easy to say this,isnt it?,is this not double standards in favour of yourself??) From my perception of you,half the forum is wrong because their interpretations are different from yours...
Also i explained my reasons for not responding to some posters,and apologised for any 'wrongful' perceived 'insults' i addressed to posters.(including to you.)

This perception is born of the same veracity with which you studied al-quraan, i.e. veracity = zero. Your intellectual honesty is such that, you pretend to critique al-quraan but instead go after the divergence of views concerning it. You hide behind slogans like 'its old'. Gosh man, that's really pathetic. If half the forum doesn't agree with me, it really doesn't bother me. What concerns me is the evidence which is wielded in the arguments. You wouldn't know a thing about evidence because you're not concerned to give any. All you want are more cheerleaders like yourself.

Sure, by MERE coincidence, this will only be posts which can help you extol your views (rants, more like) and not require you to address any serious points. Just my guess...
I did guess you'd stop talking once you sense how my questions would challenge your assumptions.
Or I tell you what, give me the exact wording by which you want me to discuss. I will do it if you can tell me about 'self-referencing' in al-quraan )

peace everybody,
i think certain people on this forum are being accused of baselessly attacking the quran. I think that is not true, no one (as far as i know) has anything against the quran. All they are saying is that the quran is not enough if we aren't following our conscience. I think those islamic terrorists are a good example of what they are saying. what you learn from the quran depends on what you want to learn.
Ok i got you but I have a good question for you, the other zillions of criminals/terrorists who have different faith or no faith, what exactly motivate them to commit these crimes?

My benefit is brought about by the stimulation of arguments by people which I will then pit against my understanding of al-quraan?
Do you understand this ? As long as you discuss like a decent human being, address the points which YOU brought up to begin with, that's all that matters. I don't care to waste my time asking you over and over to comment on my response, that's what's bad here. What you believe, do and etc has NOTHING to do with me.

Take it easy. Ps;i will still post my opinions when i disagree with you two,but no real dialogue.......on reflection,I dont feel our dialogue adds much benefit,and probably puts off other posters....
