    Hello All,

I have been away for few weeks and I have just come back and read some of the recents posts. I feel that I may have become "whipping-boy" for the forum's ills!

I am not sure whether I started all this Quran criticism here but I feel that I may be responsible in some way of prolonging it. And now some are saying that forum is becoming full of "Lote-Tree" Wanabe's and Lote-Tree imposters!

I have been on this forum almost over a year now and I have enjoyed being here. And I also very much enjoyed the varied discussions and debates here. And I have also amused myself and hopefully also made one or two people here smile now and then. But no doubt I have also upset many people but I have also made many good friends. I have enjoyed the writings of many people here. Some have written with a deep seense of love and compassion. Others with clarity and witticism and wisdom.

So chaps and chapesses don't despair. This is a good forum. Lets keep it that way. Lets work out way to ensure there are constructive criticism of all aspects of our most cherished beliefs.

    Peace to you all...

    Regards,

Are you sure you meant whipping, maybe it sounds better in past tense? Anyhow, this is just another day in the life of the forum, nothing to worry about...during my day (yes I'm not 16), I have seen many changes on the forum, it all comes back to a nice peaceful balance before it starts swinging wildly again like those gay people you hear about. I would like to clarify that I'm using gay here as it was meant to be used.

...and I am not sure about sounding better in past tense but it must have been quite a painful punishment in the past
....do you know that there is no such thing as "whipping-girl"? - I wonder why?

The word "Gay" has lost all it's original context and meaning. But as long as you are "Gay" then I am "Gay" too - in the original sense of the word - anyone else want to be "Gay" with us?

        Regards,

I think you're giving yourself too much credit, or whoever said it.
