Re: Symmetry and Equality in the Quran

God places Muhammad on the same level as the other prophets. He does not want us to make any distinction among them "We have inspired you, as we inspired Noah and the prophets after him. And we inspired Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, the Patriarchs, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon. And we gave David the Psalms" .
The above is not entirely accurate
God places Muhammad on the same level as the other prophets FROM OUR PERSPECTIVE but from HIS PRESPECTIVE, He clearly told us that He had diffrentiated between His prophets and "Faddal one on top of another", i.e. "He favoured some of the prophets and put them on higher level than other prophets, I'm sure you know that verse

1755 And thy Lord is best aware of all who are in the heavens and the earth. And we preferred some of the Prophets above others, and unto David We gave the Psalms.
Here is one of the verse. There is also a verse where Allah is providing comfort to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) that he had given some Prophets more than him. This is based on my memory, could be wrong.

Peace Ahmed,
I am aware of that verse also, but does it specify Muhammad being one of them? Or is there another verse that clarifies this position?
Thanks
Peace Zenji and KGB
I was actually talking about 2253, however 1755 is also good (thank you KGB)
Yes 1755 never mentioned Mohamed by name, but it is talking about all the prophets therefore Mohamed must be one of them and because Mohammad is also a Rasool we will see in 2253 that it is talking about all the Rusul and gave us a couple of examples in how Allah favoured some prophets over others like Moses and Jesus for example
1755
(55)2253
Those apostles We endowed with gifts, some above others To one of them Allah spoke; others He raised to degrees (of honour); to Jesus the son of Mary We gave clear (Signs), and strengthened him with the holy spirit. If Allah had so willed, succeeding generations would not have fought among each other, after clear (Signs) had come to them, but they (chose) to wrangle, some believing and others rejecting. If Allah had so willed, they would not have fought each other; but Allah Fulfilleth His plan.
(253)
Peace all

I know that verse bro i will try to find it later, it is about Allah telling Mohammad that He will protect him from the people who want to hurt him, the history told us the Mohammad was the number 1 perosn with the higghest number of assisnation attempts attepmted on him and yet he died naturally
