Not that i'm defending religion in any way, but i think your post is illogical
The thing is, it's not about not following your human instincts, it's about controlling them. For instance, anger to most people is an 'evil' thing. People do a lot of bad things when they're angry. Then there's our greed. People always want more than they have, and that leads to a lot of bad things (including a lot of anger).
But without anger, without emotion, we wouldn't be able to survive. without greed, imagine where human civilization would be today (not only in terms of technology but also morality).
Maybe i havn't said this very well, but hopefully i got my point across. -
Peace magi. Man,i dig your post,very true about religion being illogical.. However i think marriage is not feasible or recommended at too young an age or in certain situations. You dont need a person to satisfy your desires,if you get my drift.(although its great when your commited to someone and can share your sexuality with each other.) I personally dont like pornograpy,but it might be an individuals choice,i think. Getting married just for sex is one of the most hazardous things i can think of. Ever since my wife had our second child i have viewed sex in a different light. I love my children dearly,but two is enough for my energies at this moment.
Too much sex can be harmful,and dont forget unplanned pregnancy,sexual diseases,heartbreak etc... The least harmful sex i know is on your own. lol

Maybe i havn't said this very well, but hopefully i got my point across.It all comes down to fear. Destroy your fear, and greed will no longer be an issue. If you trust God to provide for you, greed (the fear of running out of resources, and starvation) will never appear logic.

watching pornography i did in the past, until I read the Quran in a language i could understand, and everything i started reading I feared God so much that i stopped every bad thing as best as i could. And it's made my life easy and happy, i dont worry about things as much as i used to, i am not depressed as i used to be. I have no desire for sex or any of the like. And btw I live in the US , I am 21. About the worst place if you want to avoid sex, but whenever i see a girl dressed inappropriately i look away and seek refuge in God lest the devils come near me.

TRUST me internet porn is not good it varies upon what you watch. I use to be a nonbeleiver and i regularly went on porn when i was 12 to 15. towards the end of 15 i became a muslim and i tryed to stop going on porn but once you get addicted it is hard. Once i followed only the quran thanks to god's guidance i finaly quit and i am now 16 and it has been about 3 or 4 months since i quit. my advice is not to watch porn. I say this from experiance.
once i stopped the good things which god gave me in life where incredibel. i was suddenly much more confident in playing basketball and soccer for school and my perfomances had improve thanks to god. my exam grades were going up and great events were happening in my life which were i knew were from god.
