Challenge to all rejectors of the Divinity of Al-Quraan : Moderated Debates
-
Enquirer
I decliined to discuss Qur'an with you when you invite for discussion because of the very bad experiences in the past where I was called the some stupid person, sunni terrorist. I can have discussion with you now just like a fierce tennis match with no personal grudges.
-
Peace KGB. Thats fine...Just to clarify,i am not aware that i personally have called you any bad names....
Im happy that we can discuss like a 'fierce' tennis match, and shake hands afterwards....You want to play on grass or clay?... -
Peace Enquirer
You did never call me any names that is the truth but I avioded you because of past bad experiences.
I can play on all fields (Qur'an - understanding with the help of translations and logic; slow courts) clay court, politics (grass and fast courts). ;D

Soul2squeezeLOTETREE or anyone else - believes the quran has contradictions, state your case! What do you have to lose? If you have thoroughly come to that conclusion then educate us all. There is nothing wrong with being wrong in the end either. There are a few times where I believed in something and someone on this forum challenged my core beliefs. I had to go back to the drawing board and reevaluate. In the end, I am a winner because I either grow from a new learning experience or I hold closer to my own faith. God commands us to tread lightly on this earth and not be so arrogant to believe you are taller than the mountains. Take others' opinions with a grain of salt but also your own and you will go far.
That's good you do this. However, don't expect this from Danish, Enquirer or Lote-Tree. They are here simply to show 'quraniyeen' that they are more evolved. They have 'evolved' beyond the book they disparage and that the book is outdated. It's a different story however, when they are challenged.

-
Peace KGB. Ok,im very happy to see progress...You never know we could have a friendly wimbledon, with no rain... bravo yay

Peace mquran. I have asked you a question....You said you dislike when people run away from questions...Why dont you answer the question please?...What makes you think i will formalise a debate with you my friend?....I dont need a moderated debate....I try to generally use my manners anyway...I have criteria for indulging in debates....And one of those is respect between debaters..... )
Peace all. ps;whos running now? Im waiting for your reply, and im standing still... group -
EnquirerPeace mquran. I have asked you a question....You said you dislike when people run away from questions...Why dont you answer the question please?
Because I have no gurantee of your response. Your previous conduct prevents me from having an informal discussion with you.
...What makes you think i will formalise a debate with you my friend?....
Nothing. To do that would take sincerety which you don't have.
I dont need a moderated debate....I try to generally use my manners anyway...
HAHAHA. So you think it's about manners? Even though I've explained this, I will explain it again for you. It's about COMMITMENT TO THE DEBATE. In other words, when you call people to respond, have the decency to stand up for yourself. Don't skulk away. Do you understand this?
I have criteria for indulging in debates....And one of those is respect between debaters.....
No. Your criteria is, your debating partner must be (severely) unable to return your arguments so that your greatness becomes extolled. It's really as simple as that.
Peace all. ps;whos running now? Im waiting for your reply, and im standing still...
I told you, only formal debates. I'm not discussing anything with people who have no staying power, sorry.

Go ahead and clarify "things" for the present and future readers.
But leave me out of it.The challenge has been issued. You don't have to answer it if you don't want to (or can't).
Oh yes I do! So beat it chap. Go and harass someone else.
Do you see the underlined 'do' above? I said 'DID' , which is past tense.
My convictions are with myself and God alone.
Well, the strength of them are now being challenged.
I declare that all that I have written was good enough to upset you.
I don't need to get upset. All I need to do is to keep issuing the challenge. People should then see you and your cohorts truthfulness.
My justice is with me and my God Alone.
Well, if you're happy , good for you.
Perhaps you need to look in the mirror and think about "righteousness"....
There's no 'perhaps' about it. If you think i'm out of order, you're more than welcome to tell me about it. Unlike yourself, I don't mind being told off.
-
Peace mquran. Do you really think that you trying to 'entice' me,is going to make me respond to your 'moderated' debate?...Didnt i discuss a few matters on salat and zakat with you only a few days ago?...Did i run from you then?...Only on one thread did i retract myself (the contradictions in the quran thread.) from fully answering...And that was for many reasons which i have previously explained...Do you really expect me to discuss with insults, accusations about sincerity, entrenced views etc.thrown about?....And further some people get soo emotional, they dont even read the points that a poster tries to make...
Further i see a tactic, where if one translation does not suit reality, then a new translation is made....
I really am getting worried about why you are so 'obssessed' with this moderated debate and the quran?!!....I think you should get over the fact that most people do not want to debate with you, because you do not embody their version of quranic morality,or even general morality....I suggest you work on your approach.....And i mean that sincerely as a human being...
Peace all. group sun yay ps; I doubt the people you want to 'discuss' with want a moderated debate, when this kind of attitude is displayed... -
MagiWhat makes you assume that i have stopped with anything? I have just seen these debates ad naseum, and they always end up in. The Quran is right because the Quran says so.
So you base your conclusion on the fact of the content of debates? That's funny considering your sense of individuality in other things. In THIS thing you don't mind being fed. Oh well, that's your business...
-
EnquirerPeace mquran. Do you really think that you trying to 'entice' me,is going to make me respond to your 'moderated' debate?...
Don't flatter yourself. The challenge is unlikely to be answered anyway given whom it was issued to.
Didnt i discuss a few matters on salat and zakat with you only a few days ago?...Did i run from you then?...
Proving my point indeed. As soon as you get challenged, you run. You need it to be nice and breezy - and of course the carte blanche to criticise as much as you like without being accountable. And you talk of DECENCY.
Only on one thread did i retract myself (the contradictions in the quran thread.) from fully answering...And that was for many reasons which i have previously explained...Do you really expect me to discuss with insults, accusations about sincerity, entrenced views etc.thrown about?....
Oh PLEASE. I was more than ready to respond but lets face facts, you didn't know what a 'nafs' was and you never read the verse, only a translation. Your grasp of the issue was about your grasp of Nietzsche and his 'spirituality' (ooops !).
And further some people get soo emotional, they dont even read the points that a poster tries to make...
Further i see a tactic, where if one translation does not suit reality, then a new translation is made....Really ? PROVE IT or will this be another hidey-hole arguments?
I really am getting worried about why you are so 'obssessed' with this moderated debate and the quran?!!....
No need to be because you and your associates will never step up.
I think you should get over the fact that most people do not want to debate with you, because you do not embody their version of quranic morality,or even general morality....
Most people? I only asked THREE people, all of whom I know are too afraid to lose face to step up. Because to you guys, it's all about that, you see.
I suggest you work on your approach.....And i mean that sincerely as a human being...
And i suggest you work on your honesty and sincerety.
-
Peace mquran....You should study politics...Then you could learn the etiquette of 'proper' debates...
Danish and lote-tree have stepped up to the plate many times in the past...I have given my views and opinions....
I suggest you ponder over my current assertion that, whether one believes in the quran as gods words or not,is SUBJECTIVE my friend...
This way you might save a lot of effort, unnecessary discussion, and energy in your posts...Agree to disagree my friend...Its how the world works... yay
Peace all. ps; Shall we debate whether KFC is better than mcdonalds?...Because thats subjective too... Thank god i live in some kind of democracy... bravo yay group -
Peace mquran....You should study politics...Then you could learn the etiquette of 'proper' debates...
Oh please stop your excuses. If you won't, you won't. I expected that from you anyhow.
Danish and lote-tree have stepped up to the plate many times in the past...I have given my views and opinions....
To a situation where they can pull one of your stunts and run, sure. Lote-Tree's already shown his affinity for a formal debate. So have you. I'm just waiting for Danish.
I suggest you ponder over my current assertion that, whether one believes in the quran as gods words or not,is SUBJECTIVE my friend...
Wow, really ?!! This a whole new revelation. You better get this published alongside your thesis on Neitzsche's 'spirituality'.
This way you might save a lot of effort, unnecessary discussion, and energy in your posts...Agree to disagree my friend...Its how the world works...
Hehe, you still don't get it, do you? Once again I don't care if you agree or not but i'm going to try to show present and future readers that you and your friends are fake. It's not too difficult considering you won't even step up.
Peace all. ps; Shall we debate whether KFC is better than mcdonalds?...Because thats subjective too... Thank god i live in some kind of democracy...
Democracy, is that what you live in? I thought you lived in the UK.

Peace mquran...Why dont you leave the assumption that we are 'fake' to the readers themselves....Im sure many understand why some are reluctant to discuss certain issues with you...
Do you consider yourself the most knowledgable on quran on this forum? If not, then you wont mind nominating someone else for me to discuss with, and then i might agree to a moderated debate with them...(not AB,if you dont mind... .)
If this debate is about the truth, and not about you, then nominate someone else my good friend...
Im awaiting your response,and selflessness...
Peace all. ps; as a humnan being i may stop talking to you for a while,to save your peace,my peace, and the forums peace... group I really think you should relax my friend... group -

They r quite knowledgable and well mannered too. So, it will be a good constructive discussion, which will benefit all.
Peace!

Peace mquran...Why dont you leave the assumption that we are 'fake' to the readers themselves....
Sadly, you guys have much more time than I do and the syntax of the forum's software allows for your posts to be pushed up. This forum has now become the cesspool of non-quranic view points.
Im sure many understand why some are reluctant to discuss certain issues with you...
Ok but others have also criticised your lack of sincerety. They can see very clearly that you're ducking and weaving.
Do you consider yourself the most knowledgable on quran on this forum?
Certainly not.
If not, then you wont mind nominating someone else for me to discuss with, and then i might agree to a moderated debate with them...(not AB,if you dont mind... .)
Come on Enquirer, don't make excuses. If you think im not polite, kindly show me where i've been impolite and tell me how to rephrase. I don't mind dancing to your 'etiquette' tune because i know you won't do it. Direct debate's just not you. Too much risk involved.
If this debate is about the truth, and not about you, then nominate someone else my good friend...
I can ask, but the arguments will be mine. You should know this at the outset.
Im awaiting your response,and selflessness...
Peace all. ps; as a humnan being i may stop talking to you for a while,to save your peace,my peace, and the forums peace... I really think you should relax my friend...Its funny how you take your reality to be text. I'm not stressed out in the least and on the contrary, seeing the rejectors of al-quraan's divinity act today has been really good for my faith.
