I never stopped listening to music (even though i didn't like music much when i was a kid. mostly because to me, music was those bland indian songs which all sound the same. my parents listened to it, and still do. not that all indian movies are bad though). I always did feel guilty though, even when i was humming to myself. I felt like a hypocrite. And i know that every muslim does (because they are). that feeling is what messes up people a lot of times.

That is why the hadith man-made laws are so evil, as they prohibit things that have no need to be forbidden. So a lot of people try to ignore them, but at the same time feel guilty as they believe they betray God. I'm teaching a lot of people in my country, and next to the headscarf, this is one of the most asked questions to me...is music halal?............

I read that the evolution theory is applicable to certain creatures, according to RK's foot notes, he base his conclusion on 2919-20 but I can't say I agree with him on that.

I've only come across one hadith my self that prohibited music. My granddad was told by his imam that any one who listons to music will have hot, melted metal in thier ears in the hereafter. I also heard that all four madhabs (Hanafi-based on work of Abu Hanifa, Maliki-founded by Malik, Shafi'i-founded by Shafi'i, a student of Malik and Hanbali-founded by Ahmad bin Hanbal, a student of Shafi'i) prohibited music.

There is a big difference between Intelligent Design and Creationism of harun yahya. Evolution is based on blind chance, Intelligent design is based on small progress through guidance by an Intelligence(God). Harun Yahya claims are ignorant as his organisation ignores to may proves for slight adaptation. That this adpation is guided by Intellegence is not to be doubted at all. Harun yahya professes creation out of nothing, but that is based on Christian creationism theology and based on the Quran which tells us that He created us out of succesors and slight adaptation. I have studied Biochemistry for years and harun's claims are crap on this. The Quran does promote Intelligent Design, read this article

To be honest i've never really paid much attention to the intelligent design vs evolution argument, it is an immensely boring, complex subject and i doubt it will help me progress much.
a Christian guy i knew brought haruns articles to my attention since he started to believe in the evolution theory and believed the intelligent design argument is "garbage" coz he claims that there's much more scientific evidence to prove evolution. 'science' changes all the time so i don't waste much time studying it. )
Haruns articles are just copied and pasted stuff, none of it is his own work, he aint even smart, Edip Yuksel wrote a highly controversial article about Harun and Harun sued him in a court in Turkey. >D

Not all of the articles and books are frauds, a couple of years ago i had contact with the organisation to translate books for them and to be their contact in Holland. But to come on the intelligent Design issue, it has more scientific value then evolution, i studied it.
