Speed of Light In Quran?
-
Salamun Alaykum Brothers and Sisters.. welcome
Quran 325 He rules (all) affairs from the heavens to the earth in the end will (all affairs) go up to Him, on a Day, the space whereof will be (as) a thousand years of your reckoning.
Are there anybody who has graduated in Physics? Or is there somebody here on this site who has any contact with any Scientist or Researchers in Motion Physics.. Or I think Math graduates also can give a solution by using geometry.. Can anybody Calculate the Distance travelled by moon in 1000 years accurately? Whether it is equal to the distance travelled by Light in 1 day?
Here I present an approximate calculation
distance travelled by angel in one day = 1000 Distance travelled by moon in one Yeardistance travelled by Light in one day = 1000 Distance travelled by moon in one Year
distance travelled by Light in one day = 12 * 1000 Distance travelled by moon in one Month
distance travelled by Light in one day = 12 * 1000 one lunar orbit
distance travelled by Light in one day = 12 * 1000 * 2,413,402 Km
(Source of One Lunar Orbit circumference http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon)distance travelled by Light in one day = 28960824000 Km
Distance travelled by Light in one Second = 28960824000 Km / Number of Seconds in a Day
Distance travelled by Light in one Second = 28960824000 Km / (24 * 60 * 60) seconds
Distance travelled by light in one Second = 335194.722 Km/s
Now The Question is Whether the 1000 year mentioned is Lunar or Solar year ???One interesting observation was made.. When 335194.722 Km/s is multiplied with (27.3216615 * 12)/365.256 which is equal to 0.8976 we get the following result
335194.722*.8976 = 300876.428 Km/s.. I dont know whether this has any significance... Any body who know Physics please takeover the topic.. ???Note 27.3216615 is the Revolution period of moon according to wikipedia. That multiplied by 12 gives the Time required for 12 revolutions.. 365.256 number of days in a solar year
I think a research into this Verse might yield some Results.. To clear the confusion regarding Solar year,Lunar year etc.. please mail me at [email protected] comments..

Salamun Alaykum
I just found that the topic is dealt in this forum in the following link..
http//www.free-minds.org80/forum/index.php?topic=5026.0Its informative but the calculations there are quite complicated.. Can anyone deal with it in a more simple way..
