    Peace,

I believe all of you have missed the message which is very clear that without Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) God will not accept you as muslims.

Where did Allah say that if it wasn't for Muhammad (pbuh), Allah will not accept anyone as muslim, or are you here speaking for Allah!? What about the muslims before prophet Muhammad? Those who believed in the message of Ibrahim, Noo7, Moosa, Easa..? If you worship Muhammad then why not worship the other messengers too!!!?..Please remember this
Wa ma Muhammadun illa rasoolon qad khalt min qablihi alrusul, afain mat aw qutila inqalabtum 3ala a3qabikum...
    (144

There is a hadeeth of Abo Bakr saying upon the news of Muhammad's death He who was worshipping Muhammad, let him know that Muhammad has died. He who was worshipping Allah, let him know that Allah is 7ay, alive, la yamoot, never dies.

Nice very nice Taj. Did I say that I worship Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)?

You never said anything when people clearly deny Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) alleged one who got Qur'an from God as revelation. Why? Because simply you care more about your online image instead of standing up for the truth against lies.

I agree with Layth. We have to believe in all Messangers and are not allowed to "differentiate between any of His messengers;". The question is can you anyone be a muslim if he deny Mohammad as Messanger. Can anyone be muslim if they believe that Qur'an is not from God?

3132 And obey God and the Apostle; that ye may obtain mercy.

I know that Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) is dead and I don't have his statue or picture infront of me during prayers. You know Qur'an better than me and Allah (SWT) did command us to honor Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him0.

Are you fair in your judgement as a muslim? It is ok to come after me and keep your mouth shut listening all the BS about Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).

KGB, I'm sure you know where I stand on the divinity of al-quraan. However, when it comes to being a 'muslim', I don't believe a person needs al-quraan to become one. Rather, if he submits to Allah through the ayaat/signs which come in his life, then he is a Muslim. Of course, if the truth of al-quraan (rather than the printed book but the spirit of revelation itself) comes to him and he rejects it, then yes, he's committed kufr.

Are you fair in your judgement as a muslim? It is ok to come after me and keep your mouth shut listening all the BS about Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).

This forum, imho, has had too much of people coming to rubbish al-quraan. I do agree with you there.

I don't have any problem with your interpretation as long as you do not promote your interpretation as the only correct version.

I love Muhammad (pbuh) too but I was upset about this

You don't think that what you wrote is considered Gholow and Allah has warned us from it?
I would not waste my time with the others you talk about because I know that their egos is their god, so it would be useless to even bother with them.

Sister that was a sentence which was not very well written because anger was the factor when I see people disregarding Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). I don't know Arabic and all my understanding of the message is by reading translations. When Allah (SWT) tells us all to honor Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) than who I am not to do so, you me and all may have different ways of honoring Prophet but it is wrong to come out and start a thread to prove that Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon him) has nothing to do with us.

I am sorry for my blunt attitude should have said it more politely.

I am with you. We love Muhammad (pbuh) and honor him every time his name is uttered. Absolutely. There is no question about that. But we also have to be careful. What some people are doing is off limits! You don't think?

I don't believe that 'salla alan nabi' (33/56) to be saying 'pbuh' after his name, sorry. I believe that ayat 33/56 to be for all nabiyeen and that 'salla' upon them is to support them and give them peace like they do for us (9/103). As you know, I mean no offense to you, just stating my view.

                      Peace,

The thing is KGB, the whole Islam should be focussed on God alone. There is a big big difference between taking Muhammed as an example, and praising him for being that example. You think Muhammed would have liked it that people focussed so much on him? I believe not, his answer would be

6161 Say "My Lord has guided me to a Straight Path, an upright system, the creed of Abraham the monotheist; he was not from those who set up partners."
6162 Say "My contact-method, and my offerings, and my life, and my death, are all (alone) to God the Lord of the worlds."
6163 "He has no partner, and it is to this that I was commanded, and I am the first of those who have surrendered."
6164 Say "Shall I seek other than God as a Lord when He is the Lord of everything?" And every soul earns what is for it, and none will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return and He will inform you of what you disputed in.

And also where does it say you have to say 'peace be upon him' everytime you mention his name? Nowhere.....

2759 gives you what to say....

                      Peace

7157 Those who follow the messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, whom they will find described in the Torah and the Gospel (which are) with them. He will enjoin on them that which is right and forbid them that which is wrong. He will make lawful for them all good things and prohibit for them only the foul; and he will relieve them of their burden and the fetters that they used to wear. Then those who believe in him, and honor him and help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him they are the successful.

Peace be upon him is repect giving to a Prophet who was send as the mercy to all mandkind and all the worlds.

In my view, this is referring to a living personality. We can no longer honour a nabiy who is dead because other ayaat point to the nabi performing certain functions (like 9/103) and a dead nabiy cannot do that.

                                peace everybody
There's a fact that some muslims goes far with their thoughts, especially when it comes to "ahadith",
they follow it blindly, superficially and they forget the coran says.
But still, when talking about this praising issue of the prophet, we can't judge definitely, we can't say that
who says 'peace be upon him' is against the coran.

And also where does it say you have to say 'peace be upon him' everytime you mention his name? Nowhere.....

                                peace arnold
                                this verse
                                3356
                                is translated like this
God and His Angels support the prophet. O you who believe, you shall support him, and yield completely.

mquran talked about it, but still we can't confirm that the order "sallou alayhe" is just to follow him.
It doens't make sense, at least that's what i think.
And finally, we definitaly shouldn't throw accuses of "lost" and "kafir" like they do.

787 "And if a group of you believes in what I have been sent with, and a group disbelieves, then wait until God judges between us. He is the best of judges."

                                        Peace KGB,

7157 Those who follow the messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, whom they will find described in the Torah and the Gospel (which are) with them. He will enjoin on them that which is right and forbid them that which is wrong. He will make lawful for them all good things and prohibit for them only the foul; and he will relieve them of their burden and the fetters that they used to wear. Then those who believe in him, and honor him and help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him they are the successful.

Peace be upon him is repect giving to a Prophet who was send as the mercy to all mandkind and all the worlds.

Please look at 512, it uses the same exact word honor (azartmouhum) and commands us to do this for all God`s messengers - which is consistent with the verses that tell us not to differentiate between the messengers...

Therefore, no one can claim that x or y messenger is better than the others and deserves more praise or special mention...They are all the same as far as we are concerned.

I agree with what MQ mentioned...That if people have not been exposed to the Scripture, yet they believe in the One God and do rightouesness, then they are considered Muslims since they have submitted to the Almighty (and that is all that matters).

With regards to those who are exposed to the Scripture and then reject it or refuse to judge with it, I agree with you KGB that they have placed themselves outside the possibility of submission unless they repent/change before death approaches them.

I respect and believe in all messangers. I will honor them all with (Peace be upon him). No more arguments.
