Father of no man!!!
-
God Bless All,
Ma kana muhammadun abaahadin min rijalikum walakin rasoola Allahiwakhatama alnnabiyyeena wakana Allahubikulli shay-in AAaleeman
Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets and Allah has full knowledge of all things.
Using qd and the normal translations
Muhammad is not the provider/cause of any of your people but is the messenger of Allah and an authentication(8326) of those who encourage good(321) and Allah has full knowledge of all things.
Abaa isn?t a father who begets you.
Proof
Am kuntum shuhadaa ith hadarayaAAqooba almawtu ith qala libaneehi mataAAbudoona min baAAdee qaloo naAAbudu ilahakawa-ilaha aba-ika ibraheema wa-ismaAAeelawa-ishaqa ilahan wahidan wanahnu lahumuslimoona
Were ye witnesses when death appeared before Jacob? Behold, he said to his sons "What will ye worship after me?" They said "We shall worship Thy god and the god of thy fathers, of Abraham, Isma'il and Isaac,- the one (True) Allah To Him we bow (in Islam)."
Ismael was their grandfather but Ishaaq was the brother of their grandfather and both are called their fathers.Abraham was their great grandfather.
La ilaha illa huwa yuhyeewayumeetu rabbukum warabbu aba-ikumu al-awwaleena
There is no god but He It is He Who gives life and gives death,- The Lord and Cherisher to you and your earliest ancestors.
See (above) who here is the Abaa.
Abraham is a father to us all in the following ? I think.
Wajahidoo fee Allahi haqqajihadihi huwa ijtabakum wama jaAAalaAAalaykum fee alddeeni min harajin millata abeekumibraheema huwa sammakumu almuslimeena min qabluwafee hatha liyakoona alrrasoolu shaheedanAAalaykum watakoonoo shuhadaa AAala alnnasifaaqeemoo alssalata waatoo alzzakatawaiAAtasimoo biAllahi huwa mawlakumfaniAAma almawla waniAAma alnnaseeru
And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline). He has chosen you, and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Abraham. It is He Who has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger may be a witness for you, and ye be witnesses for mankind! So establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to Allah! He is your Protector - the Best to protect and the Best to help!
But its just a far fetched theory of a kind ? I might be wrong.
any feed back welcomed?
Gods Blessings.

I seek reufge in God against every arrogant one who does not believe in the Day of Reckoning
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
Peace be upon you
Another mysterious verse that i'd wondered about What does God mean by
Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets and Allah has full knowledge of all things.
Father referring to Abraham I believe means that we are his descendants. Remember
He decreed for you the same religion decreed for Noah, and what we inspired to you, and what we decreed for Abraham, Moses, and Jesus "You shall uphold this one religion, and do not divide it." The idol worshipers will greatly resent what you invite them to do. GOD redeems to Himself whomever He wills; He guides to Himself only those who totally submit.

Peace All
In the following verse Allah is advising us to call even the adopted children by their fathers
name. Majority of Muslims include Muhammad also in to their names with separate first name and surname. Can the verse 3340 mean, since Muhammad is not our father why include his name in our names.
33 5
Yusuf Ali Call them by (the names) of their fathers that is juster in the sight
of Allah but if ye know not their father's (names call them) your Brothers in faith or
your Maulas. But there is no blame on you if ye make a mistake therein (what counts is)
the intention of your hearts and Allah is Oft-Returning Most Merciful -

Salaam all,
Can I translate verse 3340 this way
Not was The praised one a father to any of your men , but the God's messenger and the seal of the prophets. And the God was with all things knowledgeable.
Maybe it can explain what is meant by Muhammad is not the father of any of your men.
Please share your thoughts guys. Thanks.

Peace be upon you,
I have it-
(3340) No man's father is the vehicle of "hamd", except the messenger of The God, and the Seal of the Prophets. And The God has full knowledge of all things.
The character trait of "muhammad" is what we are trying to achieve. I need to do more study on the word being translated as "seal", because it certainly is not implying "final" nor "Last/end", perhaps it is the embodiment of all of the prophets within. Hamd appears to deal with "exaltation", and one is exalted by allowing the Divine Attributes to manifest through thier vehicle(nafs). The nafs is feminine, the reciever of the divine attributes and this entire verse is masculine "no man....father".

Peace Kyle,
This may be significant...(and please keep in mind my limited understanding) the occurrences of Kh-Ta-Miim when used in verb form seem to indicate "seal", as in "If God willed, He could have sealed your heart" (4224)
When used as a noun in 8326, it seems to indicate something else, although most translators still used "seal".Verb 27, 646, 4523
3665, 4224Noun 8326 3340
Adjective (I think?) 8325
8326
Literal Its end/conclusion (is) musk/fragrance, and in (for) that so the competitors/rivals should compete/rival.
Free-Minds Its seal will be of musk, so in that let those who are in competition compete.
Rashad Khalifa Its spice is like musk. This is what the competitors should compete for.
Yusuf Ali The seal thereof will be Musk And for this let those aspire, who have aspirations
Shakir The sealing of it is (with) musk; and for that let the aspirers aspire.
Pickthal Whose seal is musk - for this let (all) those strive who strive for bliss -
Arberry whose seal is musk -- so after that let the strivers strive --
George Sale the seal whereof shall be musk And to this let those aspire, who aspire to happiness
Hilali/Khan The last thereof (that wine) will be the smell of musk, and for this let (all) those strive who want to strive (i.e. hasten earnestly to the obedience of Allah).
QXP The seal of it is musk. For all this, then, let every aspirant aspire!
Sarwar which have the fragrance of musk. This is the kind of place for which one should really aspire.Perhaps I'm wrong, but it seems to me that "seal" does not fit this context whatsoever. How can the seal of the nectar/wine be musk? The scent, characteristic, or trait of the beverage is musk.
Following your line of thought, look at 3340
3340 The praiseworthy was not the father of any man among you, but he is the messenger of God and the characteristic/trait of the prophets. And God is fully aware of all things.
Lane's has the following(I did not include the references to "seal/end/final/conclusion" since these are already known)
He sealed, stamped, imprinted, or impressed, it
The producing an impression, or effect, upon a
thing from another thing. He put a seal, or the impression of a signet, upon it.
The impressing a thing with the engraving
of the signet and stamp. The securing oneself from a thing, and protecting
from it; in consideration of protection by means
of sealing upon writings and doors. The protecting what is in a writing by marking
a piece of clay .Peace,

Peace be upon you,
This makes good sense to me. The "exalted one" would be one who has impressed upon his/her spirit(nafs) the characteristics of the prophets, or something along that type of reasoning. Thank you for sharing the rest of Lane that I was not aware of.
