One God -----> one source and one guide of God's deen

Several sources of God's deen --------> Several gods

2132. And Abraham enjoined his sons and Jacob ?O my sons, God has selected the system for you, so do not die except as ones who have surrendered.?
      Wawassa biha ibraheemubaneehi wayaAAqoobu ya baniyya inna Allaha istafalakumu alddeena fala tamootunna illa waantum muslimoona

2133. Or were you present when death came to Jacob and he told his sons ?Who shall you serve after I am gone??, they said ?Your god, and the god of your fathers Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac; One god and to Him we surrender.?
      Am kuntum shuhadaa ith hadarayaAAqooba almawtu ith qala libaneehi mataAAbudoona min baAAdee qaloo naAAbudu ilahakawa-ilaha aba-ika ibraheema wa-ismaAAeelawa-ishaqa ilahan wahidan wanahnu lahumuslimoona

2134. And your god is but One god, there is no god but He; the Almighty the Most Merciful.
      Wa-ilahukum ilahun wahidun la ilaha illa huwa alrrahmanu alrraheemu

2135. Say ?Which is the greatest testimony?? Say ?God is witness between me and you, and He has inspired to me this quran that I may warn you with it and whomever it reaches, that you bear witness that along with God are other gods!?; Say ?I do not bear witness!?, Say ?He is only One god, and I am innocent of what you set up!?
      Qul ayyu shay-in akbaru shahadatanquli Allahu shaheedun baynee wabaynakum waoohiyailayya hatha alqur-anu li-onthirakum bihiwaman balagha a-innakum latashhadoona anna maAAa Allahi alihatanokhra qul la ashhadu qul innama huwa ilahun wahidun wa-innanee baree-on mimma tushrikoona

2136. They took their Priests and Monks to be patrons besides God, and the Messiah son of Mary, while they were only commanded to serve One god, there is no god but He, be He glorified for what they set up.
      Ittakhathoo ahbarahumwaruhbanahum arbaban min dooni Allahi waalmaseehaibna maryama wama omiroo illa liyaAAbudoo ilahan wahidan la ilaha illa huwa subhanahu AAamma yushrikoona

2137. This is a proclamation for the people and so that they are warned with it, and so that they know that there is but One god, and so that those with intelligence will remember.
      Hatha balaghun lilnnasi waliyuntharoo bihi waliyaAAlamoo annama huwa ilahun wahidun waliyaththakkara oloo al-albabi

2138. Say ?I am but a human being like you, being inspired that your god is One god. So whoever looks forward to meeting his Lord, then let him do good works and not set up any partner in the service of his Lord.?
      Qul innama ana basharunmithlukum yooha ilayya annama ilahukum ilahun wahidun faman kana yarjoo liqaa rabbihi falyaAAmal AAamalan salihan wala yushrik biAAibadati rabbihi ahadan

2139. And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds.
      Wama arsalnaka illa rahmatanlilAAalameena

21108.Say ?It is inspired to me that your god is but One god, so will you surrender to Him?? Qul innama yooha ilayya annama ilahukum ilahun wahidun fahal antum muslimoona

374.Your god is indeed One.
Inna ilahakum lawahidun

17111. And Say ?Praise be to God who has not taken a son, nor does He have a partner in sovereignty, nor does He have an ally out of weakness.? And glorify Him greatly.
       Waquli alhamdu lillahi allatheelam yattakhith waladan walam yakun lahu shareekun feealmulki walam yakun lahu waliyyun mina alththulliwakabbirhu takbeeran
