TRANSLATION BY DR. MOHD. MOHSIN KHAN

FAAcILON IS "DO IT"

QAALO SA- NURAAWID cAN -HU 'ABAA -HU WA- 'IN(NA) -NAA LA- FAAcILON 1261

They said "We shall try to get permission (for him) from his father, and verily, we shall do it."

FAAcILON IS "PAY"

WA- 'ALLADHENA HUM LI- AZ- ZAKAAH FAAcILON 234

And those who pay the Zakat

RIBAA IS INTEREST / USURY

Those who devour (RIBAA) USURY will not stand except as stands one whom the Evil One by his touch hath driven to madness. That is because they say "Trade is like usury but Allah hath permitted trade and forbidden usury. Those who after receiving direction from their Lord desist shall be pardoned for the past; their case is for Allah (to judge); but those who repeat (the offence) are companions of the fire they will abide therein (for ever). 2275

RIBAA IS GIFT

WA- MAA 'AATAYTUM MIN RIBA (N) LI- YARBUWA FE AMWAAL AN- NAAS FA- LAA YARBO cINDA 'ALLAAH WA- MAA 'AATAYTUM MIN ZAKAAH TUREDON WAJH 'ALLAAH FA- 'OLAA'IKA HUM AL- MUD.cIFON 3039

RIBA = usury to increase grow

And that which you give in gift (to others), in order that it may increase (your wealth by expecting to get a better one in return) from other people's property, has no increase with Allah, but that which you give in Zakat seeking Allah's Countenance then those, they shall have manifold increase. 3039

ZAKAAH IS CHARITY

"And He hath made me Blessed wheresoever I be and hath enjoined on me Prayer and (ZAKAAT) CHARITY as long as I live; 1931

ZAKAAH IS PURITY

FA- ARADNAA 'AN YUBDIL -HUMAA RABB -HUMAA KHAYR(AN) MIN -HU ZAKAAH WA- AQRAB RUH.M(AN) 1881

And We intended that their Lord should change him for them for one better in purity and nearer to mercy. 1881

WA- H.ANAAN (AN) MIN LADUN -NAA WA- ZAKAAH WA- KAANA TAQEY (AN) 1913

And compassion from Our presence, and purity; and he was devout, 1913
