Are we Idolizing Quran or reading it for guidance?

peace be upon all,
To me it feels like, in some point we who are trying to uphold Quran is Idolizing it blindly as sunnis idolize hadith books. What I am trying to say is, should we read Quran being skeptic or just read it blindly? Isnt this tendency similar to which led most follow hadith blindly?
How should we consider this book(Quran) or how should we consider it for our spiritual growth?
Can Quran become the victim of Idolization? How ?
would like to know others opinion..
