It would have been easy to give a better comment if you would have quoted those translations and the name of translators.

Interesting isn't it that Mecca appears in one and not the other!

but what or who was the person who seemingly didn't know that he belonged to a certain community/city or land?

        Wasn't he Moses?

        901]
        La oqsimu bihatha albaladi
        LA AQSM BHaDhA ALBLD
Nay, I swear by this city -
        | - no| - I swear/I make oath | - with that/with this/at that/at this | - the countries/the lands/the cities/the towns/the places |

        Waanta hillun bihatha albaladi
        WANT HL BHaDhA ALBLD
And thou art an indweller of this city -
        | - null| - permitted/allowed/placed in/occupying | - with that/with this/at that/at this | - the countries/the lands/the cities/the towns/the places |

        Wawalidin wama walada
        WWALD WMA WLD
And the begetter and that which he begat,
        | - null| - null| - he was born |

        Just a wild thought.

        Salaams.
