Dreams

When we are asleep, although we can see what our soul contains, we cannot change it. We don't question our dreams, we accept them. We only do when we wake up, when we are conscious.
And that's why I like Kyle's explanation of salat and why there are 2 times.
Sunrise and sunset, when day and night meet. Day=waking state. Night=sleeping state.
During these two times, we meditate (bring consciousness and subconsiousness together). Then we can see what our soul contains AND change it because (since we are conscious) we can question it.
So you might dream that you miss the goal everytime, but you can then meditate and picture yourself shooting the ball into the net everytime and you've changed your mindset.
And meditation also fits because we are relaxed when we meditate
Polygraph tests measure how stressed you are. We get stressed when we lie. We are relaxed when we are telling the truth. It's not a lie if you believe it to be true. So if we lie to ourselves while relaxed, we actually believe it.This is also how the Bates method works for improving your vision. You relax, then picture yourself seeing everything clearly. Then when you open your eyes, you really do see everything clearly, at least for a second.

As salamu alaykum.
Respectfully. jediI read an article once that says that dreams are actually a mixture of the past, present and the future which is why we dream people and things of the past and when we don't understand something, the article says, it is because it hasn't happened yet.
Our soul makes an exit from the body, the author of the article goes on, and we are in another sphere. sun
Now i remember the story of God's messenger Jospeh. He dreamt and event that will take sometime in the deep future, right? angel
Does anyone agree?

peace Alen,
yes, we do see the past, present, future in our dreams because we "go to God" during our sleep. God is infinite and can see the past, present, future.
As salamu alaykum.
Respectfully.I agree, Phoenix1, so the next question is, can we control it? I mean could we prevent certain bad stuff that awaits us in the future? ??? ???
Because that would be awesome. O0As salamu alaykum.

All I know about dreams that the longest ever one is like a second or two, in these two seconds we may witness an hour dream, the dreams also starts at the moment when our eyes starts to blink fast and that is when we start to sleep,
I many times waked myself up at this critical moment and the dream looked like real because the dream was still recent because the memory is still fresh at this moment, in fact while I remeber the dream very well at this moment if I sleep and wake up again I hardly remember it, very strange
you may actually try it, it is very hard to pick, because you have to do it just after your eyes stops blinking and you go to sleep, it is close to impossible to spot, I actually have a lot of experience doing it, in many cases I ended up with many weird dreams as i kept waking myself up everytime I feel my eye blinking then stops and I slept then quickly waked myself up I really don't know how I can do it, at this moment you will be sort of semi sleep
Cheers

Thomas Edison the inventor trained himself to solve difficult problems in his sleep.
For me, I keep having a recurring dream of a good friend who died about 15 years ago. As with you Ahmed, when I wake up I cannot remember the details, but it feels like he wants to tell me something important.
Also I keep having dreams of water, swimming, or the end of the world with water flooding everything, with a group of people including me being in a cave trying to survive.
Finally I keep on seeing myself losing valuables such as my carry bag, then finding it at the end of the dream just before I wake up.

PS I also dreamt several times of my father being alive and able to walk. He died a very long time ago and was paralysed for a few years before his death. -
peace to you all..
what do you mean we go to ALLAH when we are sleeping? What are nightmares about. are they from ALLAH, shaitan or is chatter of the self? how deeply should we delve into this subject?

I don't believe that to be true because astral projection is a fact and can be done to control the dreams i.e exit your body. You do exit your body and enter different astral plane of the universe. You can access the akashic records as The Nabi was saying which is a record of the past, present and future. A good book ive read is ASTRAL DYNAMICS by ROBERT BRUCE which goes into the methodology, details of experiences he's had and scientific explanations to it, so its a must read.
I did post about astral projections before on an old topic so if anyone wants to know more just do a search or pm me.
