How Do We Pray?

As salamu alaykum.
Respectfully. jediI'm gonna say how i pray and than everyone can say how she or he prays and than we can talk some more about the differences.
I take ablution as told in the
Qur'an, 56
O ye who believe! when ye prepare for prayer, wash your faces, and your hands (and arms) to the elbows; Rub your heads (with water); and (wash) your feet to the ankles. If ye are in a state of ceremonial impurity, bathe your whole body. But if ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands, Allah doth not wish to place you in a difficulty, but to make you clean, and to complete his favour to you, that ye may be grateful.Now i step on the clean place, i wear clean and nice clothes and the prayer starts. I start the prayer with words
"When you read the Quran, you shall seek refuge in God from Satan the rejected." (as told in Qur'an 1698. And we can say this as many times as we wish.)
Now i recite Al-Fatiha (it is called the key for a reason, it opens the prayer. And we say this as many times as we wish.)As i bow, i say"Allahu Akbar", as told in the Qur'an, 2185 and 17111.
Now in this position, i say"'Sobhan Rabi Al-Azeem' (Praise my Lord the Great). (as told in the Qur'an, 5674. And we can say this as many times as we wish.)Now as i return to the standing position, i say"Allahu Akbar", and than again"Allahu Akbar and i go to prostration, where i say"'Sobhan Rabi Al-Aala' (Praise my Lord the Most High). (as told in the Qur'an, 871. And we can say this as many times as we wish.)
I return to the sitting position saying."Allahu Akbar", than as i go to the 2nd prostration, i say Allahu Akbar and i say the same on the second prostration, also, as many times as one wishes.
This is one raka. After second or third raka, i keep sitting and say"Ash'hadu ana la illaha ila Allah' (I bear witness that there is no God other than God). (as told in the Qur'an, 318. And i say this as many times as i want.)
Than as i stand up, i say, Allahu Akbar, and repeat two or three rakats the same as first two or three rakats.
After i complete all the rakats and after finish last prostrations, i remain sitting and say""Al-Hamdu l'Allah alazee lam yatakhez waladan, wa lam yakun lahu shareek fee al mulk, wa lam yakun lahu waleyon min al zol."
which means "Praise be to God who has never begotten a son, nor does He have a partner in His kingship, nor does He need an ally out of weakness" (as told in the Qur'an, 17111. Also as many times as one wishes.)
I conclude the prayer, sitting, with these words"'Al-Hamdu l'Allah Rab Al-Alameen (Praise be to God, Lord of the Universe)" (as told in the Qur'an, 109-10, as many times as one wants.)
Now, you can all share and tell how you pray. We can share, compare, talk and maybe even laugh. But we will certainly, insha'Allah, learn.
P.S.Summary of the Quranic words to be uttered in the Salat
1- First words "A'uzu b'Allah min Al-Shaytan Al-Rajeem" (I seek refuge in God from Satan the rejected." 1698
2- Al-Fatiha (The Key)
3- 'Allahu Akbar' (God is Greatest) to be spoken frequently, 2185 and 17111.
4- 'Sobhan Rabi Al-Azeem' (Praise my Lord the Great). 5674
5- 'Sobhan Rabi Al-Aala' (Praise my Lord the Most High). 871
6- The Shahada (Testimony) "Ash'hadu ana la illaha ila Allah" (I bear witness that there is no God other than God). 318
7- "Al-Hamdu l'Allah alazee lam yatakhez waladan, wa lam yakun lahu shareek fee al mulk, wa lam yakun lahu waleyon min al zol". (Praise be to God who has never begotten a son, nor does He have a partner in His kingship, nor does He need an ally out of weakness). 17111
8- The Salat ends with the words
"Al-Hamdu l'Allah Rab Al-Alameen (Praise be to God, Lord of the Universe)" 1010May Allah Most Merciful and Most Powerful reward you all with Paradise.

i have questions to if you all do it this way? i do my rakahs,and then thats it,2 4 4 3 4,and sometimes extra ones,but i dont do anything special,other than the rakahs....
and i do them in arabic because it sounds NICE and more than that! and i concentrate and know what im saying because ive learned the translation....aloud ofcourse.

I close my eyes and say "God, please increase me in knowledge". Thats how I pray (Dua).
In regards to salaat however, thats a different story.

Salaam Alen,
I pray in any way I want, using either Indonesian or English or a mixed from the two. ;D
I just call out to The God and say whatever my concern at that particular moment is.
I can do this while I'm standing, sitting, eating, bathing, etc.=adley=

I have yet to Discover "Allahu Akbar " In the Qur?n . I checked 2185 and 17111 and there were No "Allahu Akbar.
The closest a Verse get to "Allahu Akbar" is 2945 , but even that Verse is not saying that. My understanding of 2945 is that ......We are to study what was Revealed to Us in The Scripture ( Qur?n ) then Establish Commitment to Obey the Law of God in all our waking Hours , for This Commitment will Keep us away from Evil Deeds. and the Rememberance of God and His Law is Greatest .
as for Prayer, I tend to agree with Bro Adley ....Prayers in any language I feel like at the Time but most of my Prayers are said in the Heart instead of through the Lips.
