i too dont believe in ghosts. Souls are in another dimension we don't know of. It's jinns in my opinion. I knew a friend once who told me she'd seen ghosts, and she was really normal person, and one of the more successful ones i had known and I believed her. Now I think about it, they were probably jinns.

This isn't directed towards any1 but when I read replies about Jinns its the typical i'll only believe they exist if I see them. What about germs, bacteria, x-rays these are some things people don't have a problem believing in immediately and are not visible to the naked eye. Remember something are made not to be visible and that doesn't mean they don't exist or cannot be ever seen.
I think most people are letting science dictate their minds and not relying on the Quranic principles and having faith in them. Just because sunnis believe in Jinns doesn't automatically make it invalid.

i also agree notts,i used to believe evolution was a lie because atheits believe it,just because they dont believe in allah swt ,and do the oposite.but life its not black and white ,theres more we dont know,and it wont do any good knowing,or in this "ghost" case,it wont help humanity in any way.they make ghost hunter programs and go to the house,and are super scared and "see" things,and come back with no real,sastifactory proofs,just a waste of money and time just to keep you distracted in your couch for 30 mins while u could learning about some stuff that would help people for real.and images that dont look like "jinns" (because we do not know exacly how they look) dont have to be ghosts,spirits,ect ect.they could take any form!here, proof of the noble quran... He said O chiefs! which of you can bring to me her throne before they come to me in submission?

so it could be that allah swt is trying to tell us that jinn can make illusions and change images....so they could take the form of someone you loved or someone famous dead,just to distract.as we all know jinn do distract with their wispers.
but really i think studying its a waste of time,there are people who can do more harm to your family than a shodowy ghost.

I don't believe in ghosts, but I think in many cases encounters with some living creatures, which I call "jinn" are thought to be "ghosts".
