Exposing The 3 Salaat Theory
-
Peace be upon you FJ,
I have bits and pieces all over. I used to live in this section of free minds. Rather than point you to many differnt places, I will try tp write up a small article between now and this weekend. My overall understanding is that salaat is the process of programming the Nafs(subconcious), which is the ENERGY part of being that is hidden from man. I is his garden that he must tend to by means of salaat. And with much patience, the God's help will come, metaphorized as good fruit.
Salaat and Zakaat are joined together often to show us that our goal in programming is to purify the "garden" subconcious, just as we tend the garden to remove weeds so that our flowers/fruits can grow.
Article coming soon.

O yes your question indeed is weak, you really need to read that verse 2458.
Qur'aan 2458
O you who believe, permission must be requested by your servants and the children who have not attained puberty (before entering your rooms). This is to be done in three instances-before the Dawn Prayer, at noon when you change your clothes to rest, and after the Night Prayer. These are three private times for you. At other times, it is not wrong for you or them to mingle with one another. Allah thus clarifies the revelations for you. Allah is Omoniscient, Most Wise.Your attempted to establish 3 Salaat here in this one verse alone is weak and keep in mind that no one who believs in 3 Salaat like you have not responded to your question here, I wonder why? People do take verses out of context to promote their belief. I doubt very seriously that Khidr cannot answer it what u don't see is how invalid your point that you are trying to bring home. Besides you never answered. Brother Khidr answered several of your questions and assumptions, I have read your other questions and his responses. Example you faslely concluded that he is trying to see how many people he can win over because he asked you a simple question like where are you at on 3 or 5 Salaat. He asked you a question about that verse and you won't answer. Just face it the 3 Salaat madness has been defeated, there is no more hope. I can clearly see 5 Salaat in all English translations and I wonder why you can't
(1) The Dawn Prayer (Fajr) given in 11114, 2458
(2) The Noon Prayer (Zuhr), given in 1778 and 3018
(3) The Afternoon Prayer (Asr), given in 2238
(4) The sunset Prayer (Maghrib), given in 11114
(5) The Night Prayer (Isha), given in 2458Read any English translation and it will be clear that those verses are the 5 Salaat periods. Some people no matter what will never see.
Selaam all,
no_shirk qoute
FJ that question you are asking is weak if I was Al Khidr I wouldn't waste my time.
Weak?! Where is the weakness? ??? Well, I can see that that question is causing you some trouble and that type of response is from one who has no answer. Neither you nor brother Al-khidr is wasting his time in answering such a simple question. Sincerely, just have a look at the verse and ponder on what it says and then tell me I am wrong... "Other than these times, it is not wrong for you and them to intermingle with one another". You see it says other than these times we can either go and intermingle with them or they can come and intermingle with us. Tell me is it hard to answer this question?. For me it isn't because I am not trying to complicate things here, but for you it seems to be a very hard one.
Why don't you admit that you are in a blind way try to say that there is no intermingling so there for it sounds like you want to conclude that there must not be any more Salaat.
If you ment to say that since there is intermingling between these three times than there is no more Salaat then why don't you admit that that is what you yourself see or at least tell me what I am missing? Is it hard to believe that or you are just turning a blind eye to a verse as simple and easy to understand as that?
I ask everyone here in this forum to bring an understanding of this very simple verse "Other than these times, it is not wrong for you and them to intermingle with one another". What do you brothers and sisters think the verse means with intermingling here?
no_shirk next time please don't just step in and say, 'if I was Al-khidr I would not wast my time' but be patient and at least try to give some reasons or another understanding of the verse other than that simple one.

I disagree with your points here. Age and experience has nothing to do with truth or falsehood. to me that is a cheap shot. Also to your post is off topic. Their age and experience is not the subject. The debate is 3 or 5 Salaat and thats it. when will u return back to the topic? I do not put my personal life in forums like this it serves no purpose. This is all i see from the people who believes in 3 salaat theory. All I see is talking about bunching some one in the mouth and we have u talking about what age and the experience Zainab and Khidr has, some people do say they do not like khidr's approach. I see peronal comments, assumptions. Myself and others who followed this debate are saying when are the guys and women who believe in 3 salaat theory going to provide evidence in the Qur'aan? That is the real question brother Al Khidr already provided his evidence and they are listed in the 3 links.
Salaam
Peace zainab and khidr. Im afraid you two have demonstrated your delusions regarding how you seem to think you are some kind of sacred, sincere, superior muslims... (which implies other arent...) It seems you have very little concept of how to differentiate between a poster trying to discuss with you,and your feeling attacked and undermined....Which shows how immature and insecure your on-line mentality is...
I noticed you couldnt answer a basic question on your age,life-experience etc...You then showed your paranoia by claiming you didnt want to put out you personal life and business on the net/matrix....Hey mister,i asked some general questions, not your address, favourite restaurant or your bank pin number......Anyway you carry on with your fantasies.....other people have reality and real-life to deal with......
ps; how do you two do salat, because it dont seem to be making you humble, relaxed or receptive to the truth.....?
pps; sorry to phoenix and others for going off-topic....forgive me waleed.... -
Salaam IdolFree
I have examined both of those verses and more than 2 salaat times are mentioned in those verses. i am astonished to see how a few people are reading 2 salaat from those verses u mentioned. I do not know if you read this link
http//www.freewebs.com/suprememathematics/grabbingforstraws.htm
Peace be upon you FJ,
Dont expect your valid question to be answered. It is clear to the objective reader that the verse goes from "dawn salaat" to a point where another suppossed salaat is suppossed to occur, but clearly does not mention, then to the ending pointy which is "dusk salaat". Why would the God use salaat at as markers for two of the three times? Compared with verses 1778 and 11114 we can see that there are two salaat prescribed per day. The times when the day merges with night, symbolic of the Consciousness and Subconcious coming together, in order for us to program our subconcios(nafs) and bring forth purification(zakaat) so that the God can manifest through our vehicles Its divine attributes.
-
Peace no_shirk. I admit i was off-topic,but i wanted to respond to the two posters who seemed to be exuding a 'superiority complex'.....To be honest i was not debating the evidence for 2 or 3 salat, nor do i wish to debate it at length because i already gave my little comment on its irrelevance to real-life...
And i dont feel its a cheap shot to question someones experience/age....I said that because i feel some posters have no real-life experience, and just want to indulge in intellectual/theoretical games....
ps; once again,im not asking for peoples personal life details, but a rough sketch of their empirical/real-life experiences......Will i ask a 20 year old virgin for advise on relationships...? Dont you want your doctor/teacher to know practically what they are talking about? You get my drift....? Age and experience has nothing to do with truth...? So my little boy can give me solutions to fix my car hey? peace -
Peace be upon you NoShirk,
I have examined both of those verses and more than 2 salaat times are mentioned in those verses.
Both verses describe the rubbing of the sun until the darkeness of night, that is dawn and dusk. 11114 even says the dawn reading. If you cant see it I certainly wont force it on you. You are free to see as many as you can.
i am astonished to see how a few people are reading 2 salaat from those verses u mentioned. I do not know if you read this link
http//www.freewebs.com/suprememathematics/grabbingforstraws.htm
Why would I be interested in information that starts off "This is a rebuttal to another misguided Muslim by the name of ******* aka The Cry Baby who posted ..."
However, I did read further and yes, I have seen this argument hundreds of times. Its the standard Sunni response. The only way it can be supported is to take words that dont mean salaat and make them mean salaat. I disagree as any objective reader without preconcieved ideas would.
But again, you are free to your understanding. But running around screaming "I win" is not an accurate statement.

FJ you have said that you were not the best debater, with all do respect, after reading your post here, I would like to add to your list that the reverse psychology you attempted to use here is on an elementary level. This does not work with Al Khidr.
No-shirk has appropriately said it right, you really need to take a look at 2458 also read the other verses which clearly demonstrates that there are 5 Salaat and not 3. There have been attempts by people in this forum to even mistranslate Qur?aanic verses to support their Theory of 2 or 3 Salaat.
I have responded/answered many of your questions and you would not answer my question below in a previous post, we all know the real reasons why
But I would like for you to fine tune your argument here and your strategic motives behind your argument you think you are attempting to bring forth and my question to you is
From your eyes and perception FJ if you said that you do not see Salaat during any time of that intermingling from that one verse you highlighted then FJ I want to know what type of conclusions are you drawing or arriving at usinig that form a logic? Can you please answer that question??
FJ you are the only one that is fooling yourself and they have used you as a genie pick to present this weak argument and even you lack confidence in this argument which is disguised in the form of a question and that is why YOU will not answer my question. The ?3 Salaat Theory? has been DESTROYED from its very roots and no Muslims ever heard of that mess until they visit this forum. And now we have another Muslim here who says that the 5 and 3 Salaat position is wrong and that it is 2 Salaat. There is no taqwa here, people here are distorting the words of Allah at will.
I will leave this matter here and close with these verse
Qur?aan 275
Do you expect them to believe as you do, when some of them used to hear the word of Allah, then distort it, with full understanding thereof, and deliberately?Qur?aan 245
Do not confound the truth with falsehood, nor shall you conceal the truth, knowingly.Qur?aan 378
Some of them twist their tongues to imitate the scripture, that you may think it is from the scripture, when it is not from the scripture. They then claim that it is from Allah, when it is not from Allah. They utter lies and attribute them to Allah, knowingly.Salaam
Selaam Al-khidr
It is very interesting to see how skillfully you manage to avoid answering my question and ask me a question in return! Why brother Al-khidr, why? Is it hard for you to answer that simple question?
And you said this
I have read your post and for one you are dealing with someone who is very skillful in debate and I will leave it at that point.
What are you trying to achieve brother Al-khidr? Are you trying to scare me that it is better for me to quit debating because no matter what you are going to be the winer at the end? Is this what you want 'winning and only winning'? I admit I am not skillful in debates, but no one can stop me from asking questions.
I leave it at this point as you just did because I see you do not want to answer that simple quesiton.
From your eyes and perception FJ if you said that you do not see Salaat during any time of that intermingling from that one verse you highlighted then FJ I want to know what type of conclusions are you drawing or arriving at usinig that form a logic? Can you please answer that question?
How do you expect me to answer this question when you failed to answer mine?
The verse is very clear "Other than these times, it is not wrong for you and them to intermingle with one another" It is very simple, we can play, laugh, eat, converse, work together and so on except these three times the two of which are Salaat times.
Peace

O yes your question indeed is weak, you really need to read that verse 2458.
Oh no my question isn't weak at all it is you who is trying to make it weak. And it is you who really needs to read the verse 2458. And if it is weak as you claim than why not simply answer it instead of taking all this trouble to belittle it. You can say whatever you want but you cannot change the word of God no matter what and that verse was there and will always be till the end of times.
No_shirk qoute

You have to know that I am not attempting to estabilish 3 Salaat theory here nor any other theory at all, I am just simply asking questions here to arrive to my conlcusions.
The fact of using this verse only it is not a weak one but the oposite of that. Do you think I am taking the verse out of context when it is a very simple one and yet you avoid answering?
You said brother khidr answered several of my questions and I agree with you he did answer some of the questions but he avoided answering this one just like you.
That point, which you call invalid, still remains unanswered. Please tell me are you afraid to say that there is no Salaat implied in any way whatsoever during this intermingling? Why is it so hard to accept that? Look at the translation of the same verse you brought These are three private times for you. At other times, it is not wrong for you or them to mingle with one another. Tell me did it change anything? No, it didn't, and whatever you do you cannot deny that what it is loudly saying.Peace

I understand when you say that if you can't see I won't force it on you and its mutual.
You have mentioned that how can you read something when he said tanveer aka the cry baby but idolfree you were talking about punching some one in the mouth. Also that aka cry baby was related to a debate that they had in another thread. Tanveer threaten to go and tell the moderator on khidr so he called him a cry baby.
Peace be upon you NoShirk,

Salaam enquirer
What you said about age has some truth to it but age is not always the case because there are doctors who have been practising for a long time and older but they are quacks and of course I would rather have a younger doctor who is serious about their practise. There are Imam and religious scholars who are older or elders and they have distorted Islaam but yet you can find some younger one's who knowledge is much deeper. So age and experience is not always the best indication and that is why i believe besides someone's age and experience I would rather judge them on their evidence that they can produce. You also gave an example about your young kids but its a big difference between seeking a young kid for Islaamic knowledge when compared to an adult, I could understand if Khidr and Zainab were in elementary school but that is not the case. Enquirer i do not know what salaat theory you accept but if we are honest with ourselves the side of the Muslims in here who believe in the 3 salaat theory has not really produced strong arguments. All we have been seeing is complaining about khidr approach, another person in here talking about punching someone in the mouth. I have seen people in here use other history to promote 3 Salaat stance but yet they did not like it when Khidr mentioned the Nubian history. But to be truthful we are not seeing any of the Muslims coming forth and producing strong arguments like brother Khidr did on his rebuttal and other links he shared here.

FJ you have said that you were not the best debater, with all do respect, after reading your post here, I would like to add to your list that the reverse psychology you attempted to use here is on an elementary level. This does not work with Al Khidr.
Frankly I do not really know what you are talking about? I am not using any reverse psychology at all I simply asked you a question and you keep on writing these long posts along with some verses of Quran, which talk about those who confound the truth with falsehood, who twist their tongues and so on, to avoid answering a simple question. Remember that those same verses are addressed to you as much as they are addressed to everyone of us. You are not excluded.
That goes for you and no_shirk as well. What makes you and him so sure that you are on a right side?
I have responded/answered many of your questions and you would not answer my question below in a previous post, we all know the real reasons why

Note you have said you have answered many of my questions... many does not include the one you avoid answering for whatever reasons. To me 2458 is the only verse that maps out Salaat times. Using that form of logic as you said the conclusion I am arriving at is clear and there is no need to elaborate. Now I think I have answered your question, can you please answer mine? Do you or do you not see Salaat during the intermingling between those times? I know it is hard to say 'yes' but in case you say 'yes' then please take some more time and tell me how and why.
FJ you are the only one that is fooling yourself and they have used you as a genie pick to present this weak argument and even you lack confidence in this argument which is disguised in the form of a question and that is why YOU will not answer my question. What if it is you the one who is fooling himself? Brother I am nobody's 'genie pick' and what makes you think they are using me to present this weak argument, which in contrary is shaking your 5-Salaat theory. I do not know you nor anyone at all in this forum and you can tell that I am very new in here by looking at my profile. Now I have answered you question above, what do you want more?? I guess you will ask another one.
I am closing this post with the same verses because they apply for all of us.
Qur?aan 275

Peace be upon you FJ
There are so many theories in here do you believe in 2, 3, 5 Salaat Theory?
This is your quote ?To me 2458 is the only verse that maps out Salaat times?
And that is the problem you guys are funny Muslims, you think all the salaat periods are mentioned in that verse. Brother Khidr already addressed that. Here is what he said in one of his post he wrote to you.
?I want to quote an excerpt from a debate that Basma Khalifa had with Omar Edibat on Salaat. Below is what she said in response to a similar question like yours
?Reading throughout the Quran and examining its pattern, we can easily see that information and specifications for certain matters are scattered throughout the Quran. We conclude orders and laws by looking at the whole context of the Quran. We get the whole picture of the Hajj by examining several chapters of the Quran (2, 5,9,22, 4. The month of Ramdan and fasting is specified over many verses in chapter 2, while the Night of Power is exclusively mentioned in chapter 97. The whole picture of divorce is scattered throughout chapters 2, 4, 33, 60, 65, 66.
So it's not unusual for the five prayers to be mentioned in several verses. We cannot dictate the way God is presenting his truth. We all know by now that every word, every letter, every verse number and even the order of verses is precisely chosen, measured and is a part of a very complicated mathematical structure. Our vision of what makes sense and what doesn't is so limited and needs to be questioned and evaluated all the time.?
The purpose as to why I quoted this is to raise the conscious level of understanding that sometimes to get the message Of Allah we have to obtained it from different parts of the Qur?aan. I personally do not know why you would think all 5 Salaat would have to be mentioned in that verse (245 alone. All you have to do FJ is read those verses that I provided to you and you can clearly see that Allah has mentioned 5 periods to observe Salaat. If you can?t see that, I don?t know what else to say.?
Below was another clear direct post by brother khidr on page 15 of this thread
?Alen with your copy and past of A. Muhammad?s entire website whom I directly wrote a rebuttal to, it is apparent that you interpret Qur?aan 11114 to represent only 2 Salaat. Below is your copy and paste
?As a result it becomes apparent that God is giving us in 11114 the range of two salat. The range for the two salat are the parts of the night that are just before sunrise and immediately after sunset.?
The key Arabic word ?WA? undermines the foundation of your argument. Read carefully the Arabic words below of (Qur?aan 11114) to see how they flow. It is clear that the Arabic word ?Wa? which is equivalent to ?and? in English is adding an ADDITIONAL Salaat, it is not referring to the statement or phrase before ?Wa (and)? instead it is referring to the phrase or statement AFTER ?Wa (and)? introducing the Isha (Night) Salaat
Waaqimi (You shall observe) + Al Salaat (worship-pray 5 times a day) + Tarafayin Nahar (at both ends of the day) + Wa (and) + Zulafan Mina Al Layl (during the night)
This verse represents the following Salaat periods
(1) Fajr
(2) Maghrib
(3) IshaBelow is the correct English translation
Qur?aan 11114
You shall observe the Salaat at both ends of the day, and during the night. The righteous works wipe out the evil works. This is a reminder for those who would take heed.Below are other examples of Muslims accurately translating this verse
Qur?aan 11114
You shall observe the contact prayers (salat) at both ends of the day, and during the night. The righteous works wipe out the evil works. This is a reminder for those who would take heed.Translated by Rashad Khalifa
Qur?aan 11114
And observe Prayer at the two ends of the day and in some early hours of the night. Surely, the good deeds wipe out the evil ones. That is a reminder for those who would remember.Translated by Amatul Rahman Omar & Abdul Mannan Omar
Qur?aan 11114
And keep up prayer at the two ends of the day and in the first hours of the night. Surely good deeds take away evil deeds. This is a reminder for the mindful.Maulana Muhammad Ali
Qur?aan 11114
And observe Prayer at the two ends of the day, and in some hours of the night. Surely, good works drive away the evil ones. This is a reminder for those who would remember.Translated by Malik Ghulam Farid
Qur?aan 11114
And keep up prayer in the two parts of the day and in the first hours of the night; surely good deeds take away evil deeds; this is a reminder to the mindful.Translated by M.H. Shakir
Qur?aan 11114
Establish you prayer at the two ends of the day, and in some watches of the night. Verily virtues obliterate vices. That is a reminder to the mindful.Translated by Abdul Majid Daryabadi
And every single one of these Muslims interpret this verse to represent 3 Salaat and not 2 because that is the correct meaning. One thing in this forum, it has become very noticeable how people will misinterpret and misrepresent proper context of Allah?s Holy Book (Al Qur?aan) so easily as though taqwa does not exist.
This verse 11114 is clearly representing 3 Salaat and not 2. For complete details and analysis check out the link below. The beginning part of this research has already disputed A. Muhammad?s article that you copied and past here
http//www.freewebs.com/tawhiyd/3salaattheoryexposed.htm
There is no such thing as 3 Salaat, Allah authorized 5 Salaat
(1) The Dawn Prayer (Fajr) given in 11114, 2458
(2) The Noon Prayer (Zuhr), given in 1778 and 3018
(3) The Afternoon Prayer (Asr), given in 2238
(4) The sunset Prayer (Maghrib), given in 11114
(5) The Night Prayer (Isha), given in 2458(1) The Dawn (Fajr) prayer must be observed during two hours before sunrise (Qur?aan 11114 & Qur?aan 245
Qur?aan 11114
You shall observe the Salaat at both ends of the day, and during the night. The righteous works wipe out the evil works. This is a reminder for those who would take heed. Now the proponents of the 3 Salaat Theory will acknowledge that the Dawn (Fajr) prayer is mentioned here, even though the word Fajr is not mentioned here by name and we will agree it is also talking about the Dawn (Fajr) Prayer. We will address our disagreement later concerning this verse. So now we have Dawn (Fajr) established.
Qur?aan 2458
O you who believe, permission must be requested by your servants and the children who have not attained puberty (before entering your rooms). This is to be done in three instances-before the Dawn Prayer, at noon when you change your clothes to rest, and after the Night Prayer. These are three private times for you. At other times, it is not wrong for you or them to mingle with one another. Allah thus clarifies the revelations for you. Allah is Omniscient, Most Wise.Again we have the Dawn Prayer established and this makes PRAYER 1.
(2) The Noon (Zuhr) Prayer is due when the sun declines from its highest point at noon (Qur?aan 177
Qur?aan 1778
You shall observe the Salaat when the sun declines from its highest point at noon, as it moves towards sunset. You shall also observe (the recitation of) the Qur?aan at dawn. (Reciting) the Qur?aan at dawn is witnessed. We have the Noon Prayer established and this makes PRAYER 2.
(3) The Afternoon (Asr) Prayer can be observed during the 3-4 hours preceding sunset (Qur?aan 223
Qur?aan 2238
You shall consistently observe the Salaat especially the middle Prayer (the afternoon Prayer), and devote yourselves totally to Allah alone. We have the Middle Prayer established, which is the afternoon Prayer and this makes PRAYER 3.
(4) The Sunset (Maghrib) prayer becomes due after sunset (Qur?aan 11114)
Qur?aan 11114
You shall observe the Salaat at both ends of the day, and during the night. The righteous works wipe out the evil works. This is a reminder for those who would take heed.We have the Sunset Prayer established and this makes PRAYER 4.
(5) The Night (Isha) prayer can be observed after the twighlight disappears from the sky (Qur'aan 245
Allah is Omniscient, Most Wise.We have the Night Prayer established and this makes PRAYER 5.
It is very clear that we have 5 Prayers mentioned in the Qur?aan
(1) The Dawn Prayer (Fajr) given in 11114, 2458
(2) The Noon Prayer (Zuhr), given in 1778 and 3018
(3) The Afternoon Prayer (Asr), given in 2238
(4) The sunset Prayer (Maghrib), given in 11114
(5) The Night Prayer (Isha), given in 2458?FJ the 2, 3 Salaat Theory is done. We clearly have 5 Salaat and this can be seen in all English translations of the Qur?an.
Peace brother.
Selaam all,
Selaam brother Al-khidrAs Salaamu Alaykum FJ
That goes for you and no_shirk as well. What makes you and him so sure that you are on a right side?
I have responded/answered many of your questions and you would not answer my question below in a previous post, we all know the real reasons why

Selaam all,
No_shirk you said
This is your quote ?To me 2458 is the only verse that maps out Salaat times?
And that is the problem you guys are funny Muslims, you think all the salaat periods are mentioned in that verse. Brother Khidr already addressed that. Here is what he said in one of his post he wrote to you.
Funny Muslims!!, keep on mocking brother!!! Note how you are trying to say that he addressed my question but he didn't. That excerpt only addressed the fact that infos are scattered throughout the Quran and I agree with that. So, why don't you answer that simple question of mine but bring another embelished post just to avoid answering. Can it be any clearer than this?
First private time Salaat --- intermingle ---2nd private time is when we return --- intermingle --- 3rd private time Salaat. Those required asks for permition to enter the room before one is doing the Salaat, then after Salaat one either intermingles with them or they come and intermingle with him/her and if one goes outside to attend to business or whatever then when returning this is another private time no mention of Salaat here, - (remember God does not run out of words He could have easely said Salaat here but He didn't) - after this private time one either goes and intermingles with them or they come and intermingle with him/her and again the third time for them to ask for permition is after Salaat. Very clear indeed?Peace brothers

Peace no_shirk. I respect your post about age,i am not saying that every older person is automatically more knowledgeable/wiser than a younger one....But i am saying that i respect those who have some real life-experience regarding what they are saying....Not just people quoting books or intellectualising academically on the seat of their pants, with no real research...You know its easy to claim this and that number of salats is better, more effective or has more legitimacy by quoting different verses or academics.....I suggest trying which number and method of prayer/meditation/salat/pondering practically suits an individual best, and which method produces results in terms of effective/peaceful/productive behaviour for a given individual....I know many people who pray 5 times a day and are pretty much horrible people..... (the taliban, bin laden and other less extreme examples are widespread in society, just join a mosque and see the behaviour of some people. ) So my answer is do whatever changes OUR behaviour for the better, even if we have to resort to zen meditation or anger management... elektro muscle handshake peace
ps; also, why the need for one number/one size fits all methods and numbers of prayers? We are all individuals, and what works for me may not work for you,and vice versa....We all have to eat food, yes, but the same type and the same number of meals every day??!! Maybe prayer once a day works best for some people...? -
Peace Fj
Like i said before you guys are some funny Muslims. You contradict your statment. in this post u said u believe things can be scattered around in the Qur'aan but in your other post you said this
?To me 2458 is the only verse that maps out Salaat times?
So therefore you are saying that all salaat times are in that verse. Brother Khidr answered u correctly he provided the Salaat verses where they all are scattered at and it came up to 5 Salaat. Also to Allah do not have to mention the word salaat to refer to a period of salaat either. Khidr also address the mistake that many of you have made by just looking at one verse and not looking at other verses in other parts of the Qur'aan to put the context together like 5 Salaat. 11114 mentions 3 Salaat times. I do not know about u guys sometimes.
so do u believe Allah authorized 2 or 3 or 5 Salaat in the qur'aan?
Selaam all,

Salaam Enquirer
I see what you are saying about age and everything. but for me when it comes to practising Salaat. I don't want works for me becuase I believe that Allah knows what works. So when i study the Qur'aan i am in the frame of mind to seek out how Allah wants us to observe salaat and not how i want it. Sometimes with human nature we may want 1 Salaat even though Allah told us that we have to observe or do more. I am here to submit to Allah so for me i want to know His way on how I should submit. Thats my pholisphy. Salaam

if i was phoenix i would change my name into massive online terrorist until something better came up rotfl
sorry i couldn't let this one pass by
elke
bravo bravo bravo
rotfl rotfl rotflI can hardly describe how delighted I am to see the discreet panicky pandemonium this word "terror" has created out here. The barrage of these prompt and hurried replies (in this and other threads), frantically scrambling to change user names yet again, and trying to sound casual & uniquely funny only asserts my point still further. After all, guilty conscience always pricks .. and the best way to defuse it to make light of it. Of course everyone knows that, but what a way to fight a losing battle!
As for 'enquirer' .. I saw at a glance some response posted by him. Needless to say, I neither have the time nor the inclination to read his kind of bunkum. I'd only say .. you've now got a good chance to get into business. You could be a suitable successor of Red Buttons.
Thanks to the little terror dunces for this stupendous 'entertainment.' I knew my posts would create a furore, but not such a big one .. and so much to my amusement!! yay
