Quote of the day/week

If one were to service a machine, by simply doing one small positive act, such as oiling a cog-wheel (i.e a component of the machine), then whilst the act was done on only one part of the machine, it would be true to say that one served the whole of it.

Every time god uses the word ?say? in the Quran, it means that we have to say it and realize it in order to understand it and verify it. Thus, we could live by it?

For me I do not distinguish between real and physical. In fact I even doubt there is something physical altogether in this life, it is all an intricate, albeit very convincing illusion, meant as a Test. As for in the Hereafter, this will be the Reality. This life is just a stepping stone for what comes next.

no... the best strategy is not to ingonre.. unless you like to spread more ingnor-ance... see the root... and up root ingonrance...
think about it in your own life... sometimes you have someone who are have a disagreement with... sometimes a fight or argument... etc... doesn't matter..basicly you have in another being a dispute which you have not been able to settle...
you might move from that person and seperate yourself with a thousands of miles... you might choose to 'ignore' that person.. but in reality.. you are only simply moving yourself and where ever you go.. there you are again... and by ignoring you are simply ignoring yourself... because you know even with thousands of miles between you and the dispute.. you will again be faced with the same being but now with a new face... because you never were able to settle that which you ignored... and you both are still in ignorance of coming to an understanding...

You have to question yourself, by what are you motivated? And more especially If there were no reward or punishment, would you have still done good, would you have still obeyed God? Answer this question and you will understand the core of your being, the motivator of all your deeds....

You want to do good? Try and take a homeless guy for a meal, and listen to his story. SPend some hours with him ,make sure hes fed, maybe even had a bath, and make him for that period fell 100% human and part of the human tribe. Its not longlasting, but it can be the little thing that makes him not loose hope entirely, or that little thing that gave him the hope to stand up again. We need help too, the elite holds no favorites but themself, at the cost of everybody. You cannot buy salvation, you can walk the walk.--Magi

IDOL-FREE again
""before" Allah? Where is Allah? Please point to "Him". Also realize that if you take the God to be physical then while you are "bowing before" God, you are also sticking your butt in "His" face at the other end."

"also, there is no such thing as belief in ahadith. those who believe the ahadith to be authentic, believe in the word of certain people. it is these people that they put their faith in. and this is shirk. the whole idea of believing that a person or persons are infallible is shirk. all humans can make mistakes, and therefore, the judgement of humans as to which ahadith is correct is also fallible."
