Why do so many Quran Aloners still use the term "Allah"

JK- Well bro and i believe it's right to give that advice. What MK did was however force this issue which i believe was not right. Theres no compulsion in religion but that doesnt mean i cant advise you. I hope you got my point. GOD Bless!

I myself don't see the need to not translate the whole thing if we are writing in english we should keep the whole thing in english. My personal opinion it is a better read and i myself when reading things that says ALLAH while the rest is in english makes me have to go back and translate it as GOD in my mind which takes my focus off. i dont know about you guys but thats my 2 cents.

In my opinion, all countries where Arabic is not the official language should use their own language in everything, including Adzan. In my country Indonesia, people do not even understand what the Muadzin(Prayer caller) means when he shouts 'Haya ala sholat' D.

People should know that the Azan is for the prayer so it does not need roket science to know what it is for especialy it is nothing but 3 to 5 repeated sentences wgich every Muslims should have known already in any language

O ye who believe! approach not prayers with a mind befogged, until ye can understand all that ye say, nor in a state of ceremonial impurity (except when travelling on the road), until after washing your whole body. If ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands. For Allah doth blot out sins and forgive again and again.

my first quran,which my mom bought because i told her and she saw it,it was a bad translation and eventhou it made me realise it was God's words it was bad translated and it said the spanish term for allah and not allah like my new quran,it feels weird u read in one language and u read another strange word.but when i speak english i like saying allah,only to muslims,not non muslims,and if i would have to speak with an spanish muslim i would use dios still.god sounds bad,its dog backwards.
i use it so ignorant people dont get it wrong like it is some person idol,most of people dont know allah means god in arabic,and its special because u cant use allah for anything else but him.
i dont go extreme with "u should not",or "its his name",just the middle,i dont think he could tell us his name,that wont help us at all,his laws do.if u say,in your salaat(comunication prayer) over 250 times the word ALLAH,why dont just call him by that when u are with someone who does the same?

well i think it is safe to use Allah or God....as Allah means The God in translation,if i am not wrong Allah is an arabic word borrowed from aramaic meaning Al-illah...The God.Also,the most beautiful names belong to God...as long as we use the quranic attributes to call on God...we are safe...and language is not too relevant..but we should be careful of inventing new attributes and names without knowledge...as God condemnd those who invent names like the Allat,al uzza...etc....yeap..hope this helps...and well since quran mentions Allah i am MOST comfy with using Allah though i use it interchangeably with God duringg daily conversations.

It is illogical to assume that if we use the original name of the Creator Allah, people would think we are hadiyth advocates or terrorist. Have you thought about the counter Jonny_K that people may think we are Christians or Christianized Muslims who only use the pagan English Greek term GOD?
One of the mistakes with some or many Qur?aan alone Muslims make is that they place too much emphasizes on English. English is just a human interpretation of Al Qur?aan and cannot be equal in any form or fashion to the original Arabic. It should be the goal of the Muslim to get more in tune with Arabic rather then the other way around, which is being stuck on English. The more and more we over emphasize English the easier it is for many people (especially those wolves in sheep clothing) to innovate their own assumptions, opinions, falsehood etc. etc., but the more we get in tune with Arabic this problem or form of deception will become less & less and that also includes the name for the Creator. Allah is original, its in the Arabic text and any thing that is a translation is nothing but a deviation from the original source and it can never be as strong and as potent as the original source. The enemy would love for us to only use the term "God" and not the original name ALLAH because this would be a process to water down the presence of Islaam from the spiritual consciouness of the Mumin. When the world say "Allah" they conjure up Islaam but when the world say "God" they conjure up Christianity. Allah never revealed in the Qur'aan that His name is "God" nor in any other scripture for that matter but if one does a simple research on this subject, you will be able to see that Allah is in Syretic Arabic/Aramiac/Hebrew, just to name a few. People throughout history have created or concocted different names for the Creator and instilled their belief system or innovated their belief system or dogmas within the connotation of the name for the Creator that they have again invented and one such concoction is the pagan Greek/English term GOD
The original name of the Creator Allah is found in all the Semitic languages. The link below represents my position on this issue
