So Sure Again

Asalaamu Alaykom Wa Rahmitu Allah Wa Barakatu
May Peace Mercy and rewards be sent to youIn the name of Allah most benificial most merciful.
Again I find myself feeling so sure but I was so sure when I was salafi and I was so sure when I was shia undoubtly I was so sure each time I thought I was really following the true path.. The siratl mustaqeem... I can hear people saying that I am flakey I don't know what I want but its not really a matter of what I want as its a matter of what Allah is guiding me too. I was sure that shia was right and it was, It was right for me to believe at that point in time so I could get the knowledge I now have today.. and I was sure salafi was right and again it was because without having been salafi I wouldn' know what I completely disagree with and the inpractical rituals they have. What I am saying is that I am not sure that this is the right path.. Nor do I have to be.. All i have to be sure about is that without the paths before I wouldnt be where I am today. That everything and every moment in my life has had its purpose and I am growing from all of these purposes. I do not say all hadiths are wrong although I am sure its hard to find correct inspiration in some of them but I do believe that they have a purpose, Perhaps the purpose is to show us to follow the Quran alone.. perhaps the purpose is as a test to mankind. I cannot say without doubt what the purpose is but I know for sure there is a purpose for them. Anyway what I think I am ranting about is that I have always known for certian that Allah has a plan for me and I am learning that this is it.
Gosh it would just be so much easier to go back and have others think for me.
There is my rant lol. hope you could pull my story somehow from there ) All praise is due to Allah )

Salam Winter_White,
welcome
May your journey stop here and take you to a peaceful 'world' where you will find the security that you're longing for. I'm not claiming that your spiritual journey is ending here, because we will never finish our spiritual journey, but I do believe your search to the right path has come to an end. How you'll be walking on this path is now up to you.
I myself was also searching for the right path. I was raised up as a sunni, but became interested in the occult and wanted to become a Mambo, a priestess of Haitian voodoo. My fear for God held me back from this, because I knew magic wasn't allowed within islam (I stayed a muslim no matter where my interests layed). Then my interest in christianity grew and I wanted to visit churches, but my disgust by the worshipping of Jesus as God, held me back from it. To make a long story short God heard my call and has guided me to the right Path. Since that day I feel content and will never ever consider parting from this this righteous path. Hope that He will guide you like He's been guiding me.
peace
Latifah

Dear WinterWhite,
Reading your post is very uncanny because i'm going through this same kind of feeling (i come from a sunni family). My biggest hurdle these days are a lot of sahih hadiths i'm reading for the first time in my life. I don't know what to make about a lot of them. As you said, many of them have a purpose. But at the same time, many have no positive message in my opinion. Many things are just someone's depiction of events which provides a strange negative picture of the times when Islam came. So i'm hoping i can find some peace too this ramadan as i learn more. God ultimately guides those who choose to be guided.

that negative image that ahadith gives to islam its what has been used in the media and the so called "muslims" that believe in this stuff, accept it,because its from the prophet but never ask themselfs that how can a man of god be like that, and then they go to think those actions are permited, lawful.plain wikedness.
extra rituals to look like the religion they have its better because there its more complication in it.
future telling by rasool ,just because they cant wait the future and always want someone or something to save them without doing anything themselfs, intersection also.
it contradicts the quran which allah said its complete, out of imperfection, and easy to learn.
this ramadan im so happy people are waking up...faster i can say,but inshallah in this troubled times the veredict of the planet will be finding the true flawless system to make life easier, islam.

Asalaamu Alaykom
Thanks for the replies. Man I realize sometimes that wahabi's only exsist as a test to us who are trying to understand truth.. Tonight for instance I was on paltalk and went into a room where they were talking about Aisha's age.. they insist that she was nine years old and that nine is a acceptable age.. their excuse when I said no it is not true was to say well according to the Bible Mary was 12 when bearing Jesus or something like that.. DUDE ISN"T THAT A DIFFERENT STORY! I wanted to know lol but anyway so they said she was 12 and I said yep figures you take from the bible because there is no difference between the bible and bukhari they are both the same.. CORRUPT.. so then of course they asked me how much knowledge I have compared to Bukhari.. I said Bukhari didn't have knowledge only rumors .. anyway they bounced me .. right before they did one mentioned how Qurani's confuse Muslims.. What they really meant to say is the QURAN confuses the idol worshippers as it is.. and Allah even tells us that so wonderful..Another sign...
And Allah knows those who are true from those who are false.
I really am a calm person mostly.. but these wahabi's really make me mad sometimes lol.. argh this is definatly not from Allah that I shall get angry.. only Shaitan carries this trait.. Anyway please make dua that I don't lose my cool on these wahabi's.. perhaps I should leave paltalk alone for a while Alhamdoolilah I fount this forum.. angel yay
