I'm doing research on food and prices and i was wondering how much would you be willing to pay for a meal in the city of more then one million people?

I've been in UK, USA, Belgium, Germany, Bosnia and seen different prices.
In UK, the minimum price for a meal is around 6 or 7 Pounds.
In Germany you can have pretty much the same meal for 10 Euros.
Slovenia is extremely expensive because of the market and population.

Let's say you walk in a restaurant and the meal is mashed potatoes, giant meat ball, tomatoe sauce and salad. Would you pay for this 5 Pounds? 6 GBP? 7 Pounds?

Around 2.8-4.8 pounds depending on where you eat (McDonalds vs. Chinese Takeaway). Restaurant is of course more. This is in Australia.
