I have been searching the Quran for any indication that it is for all mankind, but all I found is this

12 2. Surely We have revealed it-- an Arabic Quran-- that you may understand.

    1. O followers of the Book! indeed Our Messenger has come to you explaining to you after a cessation of the (mission of the) messengers, lest you say There came not to us a giver of good news or a warner, so indeed there has come to you a giver of good news and a warner; and Allah has power over all things.

    I hope I missed something.

Help me on this question please.

    Thanks.

      Peace Tony

The Qur'an sometimes refers to its readers as what RK translates to be "O people."

O people, remember GOD's blessings upon you. Is there any creator other than GOD who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? There is no other god beside Him. How could you deviate?

O people, GOD's promise is the truth; therefore, do not be distracted by this lowly life. Do not be diverted from GOD by mere illusions.

O people, you are the ones who need GOD, while GOD is in no need for anyone, the Most Praiseworthy.

The root for this is Nun-Waw-Siin = mankind, people, others, men.

With this, we can infer that the Qur'an is for all people, mankind.

      Hope this helps. Peace.

        Peace

2185 Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment...

        Who are mankind? Arabs only?

4913 O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted.

Specifically, the quran is for who? Answer is in sura 2, ayat 2.
Who will heed the warning? those who fear God.

If the quran is only for the arabs, they still have to admonish others with messages contained in the Quran, as it says
1452 Here is a Message for mankind Let them take warning therefrom, and let them know that He is (no other than) One Allah. let men of understanding take heed.

It is really a wonder how our enemy can come up with so many excuses for us not to listen and submit to God. But truly God is Protector of His believers. Praise to be God.

          Peace all

Ah very nice Bubba. I missed 2185. That directly answers your question, Tony.

The "mankind" in 2185 is obviously also from the root Nun-Waw-Siin.

          Peace

            Salam.

If the Quran is just for the Arabs, then shouldn't the non-Arabs receive their scriptures?

            Salam.
