Does the Quran mention how God created man, and does it say what we were created like. For example the Bible says we were created in his own image and likeness.

Does the Qur'an mention that God created man? Yes.
Does the Qur'an mention from what ingredients God created man? Yes.
Does the Qur'an mention how God created man? Some stages of human creation are mentioned in various verses.
Does the Qur'an say what humans are created like? It said we were created to the finest of forms (ahsani taqwim). Nothing about humans being created in the image of God, of course; I would claim that the majority of Muslims does not think that God is anthropomorphic (human-shaped).

Yes, this reading says we were created according to the God's pattern....which is the same implication as the Bible saying according to the God's image. Meaning that we have the same qualities of God but not the same quantity. Our job is to become GOD-LIKE, to manifest the attributes of the God upon which we were created.
(3030) So keep up your face to the order, (as) a submitter/Moslem/Unifier of God , God's pattern which He created/originated the people on it, (there is) no replacement/substitution to God's creation, that (is) the straight order, and but most of the people do not know.

I believe this means we were created to resemble him. We were created to resemble his soul, mind and spirit. I dont think it nesseceraly means in a bodily form.Sincerely, Abuja

Quran doenst mentioned that God created man in his own image, but Hadith did
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, created Adam in His own image with His length of sixty cubits, and as He created him He told him to greet that group, and that was a party of angels sitting there, and listen to the response that they give him, for it would form his greeting and that of his offspring. He then went away and said Peace be upon you! They (the angels) said May there be peace upon you and the Mercy of Allah, and they made an addition of" Mercy of Allah". So he who would get into Paradise would get in the form of Adam, his length being sixty cubits, then the people who followed him continued to diminish in size up to this day. (Sahih Muslim, Book 040, Number 6809; cf. Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 74, Number 246)
