The forum is now back up again.
Everything should be fine, except that the forum has been reset to the 26th due to lacking back up of the DB. If you notice something wrong in addition to this, please post here in this thread.
My apologies goes to those who have lost their posts due to this; I'm really sorry.

Mashaallah. Excellent work for getting the forum back up. To be honest I had my doubts that it would suceed, especially since I thought we did not have a full back-up of the bp.

Yeah, I had my doubts to. Timeout after timeout, syntax error after another, computer crash, corrupt uploads etc.. I was about to get crazy; I had half my hair ripped out, hehe -)
But you know as they say, if you want it done properly do it yourself. So left the whole "automatically restored" thing, and opened up the 156MB Text file and started manually copying and entering the data. All the while flashes of those articles about chinese guys dying of spending too much time on the computer ran through my head. Hehe, just kidding -)
For a while actually, I was really really scared. After I read your very first mail, I started thinking that I had replaced the whole-db-backup with the second backup, which I had found out to be only partial. Which meant that the whole-db-backup was lost. I was in the restroom when it first occured to me that everything might have been lost due to my carelessness. Man, I've never prayed so hard in my life before. Hehe. "Dear god, help me out here man, if you do, I swear I will never more adjust the clock an hour ahead in Ramadan.". As you see, He bought it! -)
