Noah's son?

The old translations lead one to believe that Noah's son was not of his family because of unrighteous deeds.

YUSUFALI He said "O Noah! He is not of thy family For his conduct is unrighteous. So ask not of Me that of which thou hast no knowledge! I give thee counsel, lest thou act like the ignorant!"

While the new translation here seems to suggest that maybe his wife was impure?
