The charactor's name was Marv, he's the guy who had the ugly face from the beginning, but he was also the toughest guy among all the tough guys. musclePeace

...Now to explain the indvidual being righteous/true believer, is the one who takes care of oneself, who looks in good condition because they eat well and keep away from bad foods/drugs etc, they are not idle, they work or do excersise, maintain the body etc. so thus they attain the looks of being in good condition, and atraction is part of true love, then obviously the inside of the person is also good as they are a true beliver and good hearted.
Now they are equiped in attaining true love with a similair partner, iam not saying they have to be perfect, as no ones perfect, but the more of those qualities one has the more of reaching a higher level of true love as it were.
When i look for a partner, i look for those qualities, of course the looks and the beauty of the women will be taken into account, because as i have mentioned i want a women that takes care of her self phsyically. iam not going to consider a women thats very obese, because she doesnt care about her body, all she does is eat greasy junk food and sits down all day !!
Wow. You can tell whether or not someone is a righteous, true "beliver" by whether or not they look good, how much "excersise" they perform, and how much they weigh? My English translation of the Koran must have skipped over that part. Please post the quotes from your copy where it says that. I'm just dying to see it!
My attraction to the opposite sex is usually influenced by the quality of a man's mind and intelligence. His ability to spell is especially taken into account.

Ever since i have fallen in love with my gorgeous one, i have discovered that love is something a person cannot even describe or click on and off. Love is ... well, i guess every person must wait until s/he falls in love and you'll see what i'm talking about.

As for me, I refuse to put love in a box, cube, or whatever spatial limitation one would like to put on it. Love itself is an attribute of God, but sometimes I wonder if people confuse love with lusty feelings of possession and want.
To say that romantic love is the only love that can fully satisfy the human heart and soul is too shallow, too offending towards that beautiful God who created these beauteous and resplendent emotions that we are capable of. I can certainly attest that to be in the euphoria of love can be as peacefully sweet as a gentle, bubbling stream, or the rapid rushing as a mighty river -- both of which flow the same emotion, which sourced from the Great Source Emself.
The Waters of Divine Love have never been more refreshing, sweeter, than the individual who falls in love and recognises that it is God who ordains such in all things in this world. It uplifts and attracts, inspires and distracts. Yet above all, love should never degenerate into passivity; it is an active and creative force that overlooks the imperfections of that person and focuses on eir God-given attributes instead. It should motivate that person to do more, to serve more. What's more is that it is unconditional, that one only seeks to love the other without any form of desire to the self; the lover only desires that the other is happy.
If that is taken to account, then let everyone fall in love! May a child fall in love with eir parent in pure and goodly subordination! May friends fall in love with each other and dwell in a friendship of warmness and even intimacy! May lovers fall in love with each other in romance and all loveliness. Let every man, woman and child fall in love with God alone, Who created such a euphoric emotion, so transcendent and beautiful that it is undoubtedly a universal that all may partake of.
It doesn't matter if that person's sex is different or the same, African or European or Asian, young or old, family or friend or lover, considered ugly or beautiful, etc. When love is Godly, then all imperfections pass away and comes in that transcendental purity that completes oneself on this Earth.

I always wondered why the quran never had anything regarding love relationships...
There are characteristics or qualities of love expressed, such as being merciful, patient, forgiving ... but love directly is never addressed... Can anyone weigh in on that?

As Baha'is, we recognised that our souls have the special ability and capability to manifest the attributes of God Mercy, Love, Wisdom, Compassion, etc. This is what the Bible means when it says that mankind was created "in the image of God". However, because they source from the One Great Source, the Dayspring and Font of All Divine Attributes and Names, our manifestation of them are only glimpses, small mirrors or foreshadowings of God's own.
We can never understand what Love is, because of our human limitations. It is the same with all other Godly Attributes such as Dominion, Providence, Bestowal, Grace, Mercy, etc. Yet when we see with undiscriminating eyes a minute glance of these attributes, they are so awe-inspiring that there never will be words to describe such. IMMHO, addressing Love in its very essence is like addressing God in Eir Essence; completely impossible in this world.
But we'll know when we ascend into the spiritual worlds... But I'm quite patient and have no need to go there right away, lol.
God is the Lord of All Worlds,
