I don't know if anybody here knows anything about String Theory or has watched the Elegant Universe. The belief of String Theory is that all matter is made up of tiny, tiny little vibrating strings of energy whose vibration determines their purpose. According to String Theory, it's likely that the Big Bang was sparked by a brane collision and the ripples between the two branes are responsible for matter. Also, in this view, time existed before this Universe was created. If anybody out there knows more clearly what branes are, please explain. I am a believer in String Theory and I see nothing in the Quran that says it isn't possible. If you have verses that might prove me wrong, please share.

      Peace "bosnian thinker",
The only problem ive seen with string theory is that it talks about LIMITED dimensions. Ive yet to see a theory which accepts an infinite amount of dimensions for this is causally inevitable. I wonder why people are hesitant to accept an infinite chain of cause and effects which is the only logical explanation. BUT yes time existed before this universe BUT not in the sense we know it. Ive discussed this many times on the forum and thereby proved that the existence of GOD is a logical necessity as He would have "evolved" out of infinite random fluctuations and thereafter left nothing more upto chance. String theory seems to go into that direction but itd take some time and some corrections n their understandings as ive mentioned. GOD Bless!

        Nice to meet you Jonny_K!
I think the reasons why many people are not willing to talk about infinite dimensions is because it's not easy to comprehend and also because why do we have to have infinite dimensions? I don't believe there's infinite anything in this Universe. Concerning time, it is one of the hardest things to understand. We have a dimension of time (and no it's not an illusion like some people say) which is before and after. Remove the dimension of time and what do you get? No order. No before and after, everything just happens. It's a state of eternity with no end and no beginning. God has no beginning in the way we view and no end. Also, I am starting to really believe that it's impossible for us to be in Heaven forever. I know everybody is going to say it's in the Quran, but the Quran is a poetic book. According to the Quran, one of God's names is The Last. Now, how can He actually be The Last if we stick around forever? Of course, the name might have a different meaning such as that He will always exist and nobody can do anything about that, and therefore He would be The Last in any situation. Concerning the time issue above, many people argue if God does exist and is not bound to a dimension of time, how is it that we have time in our Universe while God doesn't experience time? Simple. Imagine you die tomorow only to find out that this entire life was a dream. When you woke up and started thinking about what just happened, you realize that it seems as if though, say ,100 years went by, but it was actually just a 2 hour nap. Time seems to go by faster in some cases and slower in others.

Also, I don't understand exactly what you mean by fluctuations and I don't understand specifically what you find wrong with String Thoery.

        Peace.

            Peace "Bosnian thinker",
I did not say limited dimensions in this universe only BUT there are an infinite no of universes and hence also an infinite no of dimensions. Heres Hawkins latest theory of everything
