It seems on this forum your purpose is to make an "Ayman" sect when all that was made was a simple article that people found truth in using the Qur'an alone. Whereas the Ramadhan that Sunni's practice is explained in the HADITH, hmmm.
    Peace

    Salaam again Soof
No I would disagree; Ayman's article is not just simple it is very misleading and could result in an already divided community fragmenting into oblivion. Other religions celebrate their special occassions on the same day, but we the followers of the Quran have our various, small pockets of special occassions each with his/her own day, and changing the Qur'an beyond recognition so that no one would value it any more.

At the end of the day, we can't take anyone's word for anything, we have to verify it for ourselves as God commands us to do. If we blindly follow something we simply agree with, we are not using our brains, and more research is needed.

Exactly!! We are all expected to do our own search for the truth, we have the book and we have the brains and our faith in Allah that we would reach the core of the truth. Insha'Allah.

Please desist with referring to people as sheep/followers/sectarians. What does God say about backbiters, "would you like to eat the flesh of your dead brother?"

I apologise sincerly if you felt it was aimed at you; that was not my intention. -[

    peace

                LOL!!
A fast for 12 hours and then eating for 12 is only a fast for 12 hours.

I ask again, how can you call it a fast for a month?!

                      Peace to all,

pvb, please stop Laughing Out Loud at all our comments, you sound like your making fun of muslims that fast for 30 days, it isnt fast for 12 and eat for 12, you dont eat or drink at all from sunrise to sunset, then you can eat in moderation, but the majority of the time when the sun is down you are sleeping, so your body is surviving on very little food and drink for a whole month, indeed it is very hard and requires alot of self-control and discipline. So have you tried it yet, are you going to, if not , why not. Beleive me, the christian fasting of lent for fourty days does not even compare, they usually pick one think to give up like " i wont drink pop for fourty days" they then continually indulge themselves in whatever else they want as normal, iyou dont even know that your fasting, give me a break, or, I mean, LOL

                      Kurt

They say what they say, but your Lord says

                              (&#65279
O ye who believe! Approach not prayers with a mind befogged, until ye can understand all that ye say, nor in a state of ceremonial impurity (except when travelling on the road), until after washing your whole body if ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands. For Allah doth blot out sins and forgive again and again. (4-43)

Do not forget that humans have their own logic that most of the time defers from what God's want.

                                Ending the debate in the truth is what matters;

The Truth is Month = Shahar
The Truth is Rammadan = the month when Moslem Fast.
The Truth is Scorching Moon does not happen in Summer time as Ayman Said nor in any other spacific time; morover Scorching Moon does not happen every year.
The Truth is Moslems should use the Moon Stages to Calculate the period of Month.
The Truth is "Witnessing " can be done by Sighting or by Hearing.
The Truth is Blind people can Fast as other Moslems.

If the above is not The Truth from our Lord, what else can it be.

I worship The God who Makes his Message very Clear to every human to understand hail

Mr. bilal there are twelve moon can you please tell us witch moon is Ramadan moon or you are blindly following the calendar made by traditionalist after the death of the prophet why the prophet did not made one.
and if that calendar is correct then why Muslims are fighting every year in pak in every city the Ramadan & Eid starts on three different dates

                                  Please read this

                                  Peace all,

Another point I would like to share with you; The following is a Quotion from Ayman 4 years ago

                                  Begin Quote
Sister, you ignore that you are starting to count 4 "periods" from "ramadan", so according to you the hunting restriction is early fall-winter. Where I am in the Northern Hemisphere, fall is deer hunting season because that is when they are the most plentiful. Hence, your preservation of land-game argument is not factual.
                                  End Quote

As you can note Rammadan is the begining of 4 restricted Months. Thus according to Ayman, if Rammadan Moon starts in June 15 (solistic Moon), then the end of the 4 restricted Months would be in about October 15. In this time according to Ayman would be Fall time.

Now let us explore the following

                                  (&#65279 (&#65279 (&#65279 (&#65279 (&#65279

A (declaration) of immunity from Allah and His Messenger to those of the pagans with whom ye have contracted mutual alliances. (1) Go ye, then for four months, backwards and forwards, (as ye will), throughout the land, but know ye that ye cannot frustrate Allah (by your falsehood) but that Allah will cover with shame those who reject Him. (2) And an announcement from Allah and His Messenger, to the people (assembled) on the day of the Great Pilgrimage that Allah and His Messenger dissolve (treaty) obligations with the pagans. If, then ye repent, it were best for you; but if ye turn away know ye that ye cannot frustrate Allah. And proclaim a grievous penalty to those who reject Faith. (3) (But the treaties are) not dissolved with those pagans with whom Ye have entered into alliance and who have not subsequently failed you in aught, nor aided anyone against you. So fulfil your engagements with them to the end of their term for Allah loveth the righteous. (4) But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (9-5)

As you can note the war would start after October 15--Fall Time and not in the heat of Summer time.

Now read the following, from the same Chapter

                                  (&#65279

Those who were left behind rejoiced in their inaction behind the back of the Messenger of Allah they hated to strive and fight with their goods and their persons, in the Cause of Allah they said "Go not forth in the heat. Say "The fire of Hell is fiercer in heat." If only they could understand! (9-81)

Now is the period after October 15 Hot or should be...Mild or Cold? Or Maybe it was Global Warming? confused

                                  Peace

                                  peace

                                    Peace;

Every word I wrote in the post you quoted is Truth; I supported each with maney verses; Now, Do You Reject them as Truth or not?
Because if you do you are disblieving Quranic verses?
Rammadan was never in Summer time as Ayman says?
                                    Please read this

The Prophet had a Calender by which he calculated the time of Ramadan and Hajj and the restricted month.
Now is the Calender still exist? Yes, and it is. If someone wants to say otherwise, he should bring proof, otherwise we can not believe him.

What Ayman has are proofs that are based on other books and not Quran; moreover, I and others showed very well-established verses that refute his non Quranic proofs.

Now, God gave you a Brain to reason, and a free well to choose.
Good Luck! and may God help you to reach the truth.

                                          )

)Great news where is that calendar are the Muslim today following the same calendar can you prove it if you are true.
The traditionalist claims that the calendar was made by umar after the death of prophet.

Since you are claiming that prophet had a calendar then you have to prove it. And where Quran says how to recognize the months by sighting moon according to you ?
                                          hmm
