Free-Minds 333 God has selected Adam, and Noah, and the family of Abraham, and the family of Imran over the worlds.

Yuksel, Layth and Schulte-Nafeh 333 God has chosen Adam, Noah, the family of Abraham, and the family of Imran over the worlds.

333 (The Qur?an is the Final Perfected guidance for all humanity. But God has elected messengers before to convey His messages.) Indeed, God did choose Adam and Noah (Nooh), and the family of Abraham and the family of Imran above all people (of their times).

Alamin can mean "Worlds", "Creations" or "Beings" according to studyquran.co.uk .

Is 333 simply telling us that Adam, Noah, Abraham's immediate family and Imran's immediate family are preferred above all other creatures or does "Adam" in 333 mean "Mankind", and do "The family of Abraham" and "The family of Imran" mean Arabs and Jews and all of Imran's descendents respectively? My guess is that this verse is simply saying that Adam, Noah, Jews, Arabs, and the descendents of Imran are preffered above all of God's creatures. God does tell us repeatedly that It blessed the Israelites more than all of God's beings (247). However, 333 says that God has chosen (not chose) Adam and Noah in addition to Abraham and Imran's families, so could it be that "Adam" and "Noah" mean Adam and Noah's descendents?

Another question what does God mean by "Worlds" in 342? What worlds is God referring to? Or does Alamin in 342 mean something else?

        Peace be upon you,

And God will choose you too if you join the family yay

Remember, God says your real family are the righteous, and that family line is chosen above all others based on thier character/behavior.

We are not talking about some man named "Adam" years ago, but all righteous people from beginning until now.

I don't know anyone ever translated AaLamin = All Race, but that is the actual meaning of Aalamin... I also very much confused with this particular word for ages but God didn't keep me for long.. Anyone can verify by using ALL RACES into any of Aalamin verse and check whether it makes sense.. Of course it does and it makes perfect sense..

We human are diverse... If anyone feels All Races doesn't suit to such and such verses pls be kind enough to bringforth, in order that we may get a better clarified... All translations I have seen are really wrong and it won't make sense with All alamin verses in Quran... But All Races do make perfect sense coz it is the meaning of Aalamin...

One subject relevant and of interest for its audience is Anthropology. It is the scientific study of humanity, concerned with human behaviour, human biology, cultures, societies and linguistics, in both the present and past. And genealogy is the science of studying family history. Genealogists compile lists of ancestors. Thereby, in view of aforementioned claim, it is unthinkable that genealogy of the group of Men declared ever exalted in space-time over the entire created realm would have been neglected mention.

Indeed, Allah the Exalted had granted distinction and elevated stature to Adam , and to Noah —

And to the clan of Iebra'heim and the clan of Imr'aan; —

This distinction and preference was over their contemporaries in the world.

Those clans(of Iebra'heim and Imr'aan) some of them were the progeny belonging to some dynasty.

Be mindful, Allah the Exalted is eternally the Listener, the Fountain of Knowledge - Setter of sciences.

Here the fact about grant of distinction (ٱصْطَفَىٰٓ) is not with reference to selection of particular Galaxy of Men (ٱلنَّبِيِّــۦنَ) as evident by the mention of clans (ءَالَ) of two dignitaries. The distinction individually granted to Iebra'heim alai'his'slaam is earlier mentioned

Be thoughtful; Who is he who would avert inclination away from the Prescribed Procedural Code of the Community of Iebra'heim ? None turns-averts his inclination away except the one who made fool of himself.

Be mindful; Our Majesty had with pleasure selected and elevated him in this World.

Of course, he is certainly one of the most distinguished in the ranks of the Righteous-the Perfectionists in the Hereafter.
