Is it me, or does anybody else think there is some sort of conspiracy to turn people away from the Qu'ran?

My mother isn't Muslim, but when she was married to my father she found out alot about Islam. And one thing she pointed out was that how the hadith was written in new age english, but the majority of Qu'rans were written in a archaic biblical style english. Does anybody think that this is done deliberately to turn peoples attention to hadith rather than research the Qu'ran? After all, resulting to hadith would give more power and authority to the governments (ie saudi) then Qu'ran would.

"Conspiracy" seems like a 'simplification' of matters at hands..
Along the history in any cultures (Saudi, Roman Empire, Byzantium, Ottoman etc..) , you could see that government / kingdom always trying to grab a control of their people. One of the most efficient way to do it is through religion, thus the concept of "state endorsed religion' is being proposed.

The governing model is also very similar.

      1. A military and political figure as the head of state. (e.g. King, Sultan, Emperor etc..)
      2. A religious cleric (or religious council) as the governing ruler on state endorsed beliefs (e.g. Cleric, Patriarch).

The clerics usually served under and appointed by King/Sultan, with main task on coming up with 'religious justification' for King/Sultan's political agenda and policy.
The so called Hadith a.k.a rumour/gossip was also being invented by the clerics within such political context.

The concept of 'secular nation' broke the before-mentioned governing model.
In a 'secular country', the government doesn't enforce any particular sects/religion to its people, thus abolish the need of clerics/patriarch, stripping them out of power.
The people can believe in any sects/religions they wanted as long as they obey the country's law including paying taxes.

      Salam / Peace

No conspiracy was needed. Hadiths resulted from the natural law of supply and demand. Thus, as their importance and thus demand for them grew, so did their number.

        Peace,

        Ayman
