Number of wives?

The general trend in Islam is for men to have at least two wives, with the option of three or four wives as well. Being monogamous is the exception, in the case of a person whom it is feared that he cannot handle and be just to more than one wife as per instructions of the Pure Quran.
We Sunni Muslims are therefore encouraged to have multiple wives in following the example of the Prophet peace be upon him who had multiple wives.

Now if you analyze this verse, there are two clauses which I have separated. The first is in red color and the second is in green color. The part which is in red color, which coincidentally talks about polygamy, is general and is for all believing men, not just the Prophet peace be upon him. That is obvious from the fact that not only the Prophet peace be upon him, but all believing men are permitted to marry the women whom they have given dowries and the daughters of their uncles and aunts.
However, the part in green color is a clause which is restricted to the Prophet peace be upon him only
(and a believing woman if she offers herself to the Prophet, and the Prophet wishes to marry her -- a privilege for you only,) means, `also lawful for you, O Prophet, is a believing woman if she offers herself to you, to marry her without a dowery, if you wish to do so.' (tafsir Ibn Kathir)
An ordinary believing man cannot marry a woman without a dowry, he must give a dowry in order to seal the marriage. The Prophet peace be upon him was exempted from this condition.
As for the other verses, I don't see their relevance to the topic, perhaps you could explain.

It is in the Christian Bible that says women are lower than men.
Muslims didn't use the Qur'an to null dowry, etc.
But in 3350, only the Prophet was allowed to take multiple wives. Muslims didn't use the verse to null dowry and prohibition of marriage to some people but he just wanted to show that only the Prophet was allowed to marry women whom he wished
And in 43, men are only allowed to marry up to four women in the case of orphans. But even in the verse 43, God already states that marrying one woman is the best.
You said people who reject the hadiths just want to follow their own desires? Why don't you look at your beloved Salafi scholars who accept marital rape and honor-killing of women who are rape victims and also pedophilia?

It will bring more justice if they are able to benefit the orphan and at the same time, are able to be equal between their wives. It is only in this situation Allah made it lawful to marry more than one woman.

Erroneous way of reading texts. The pronoun for men is plural whereby the following word "wives" is plural. It denotes respective wife--respective wives if a man has married others to fulfill the obligation imposed upon him.
