Curiousity

Salam
You write, Quran says fast unto night, but muslims
break fast at sunset.Well, for a starter, read an article from 'free mind'
http//www.free-minds.org/articles/science/quranic.htm
and let everyone know that among you free minds there
is dispute on understanding what constitutes day and
what is meant by night. For us it is crystal clear, at sunset, the fast is to
be terminated. As Quran says, 'he recites to them His
Ayah, and trains them, and teaches them the Book and
the Wisdom'. Period. Also it was his (Prophet's) job to explain wherever
doubts arose.Had he not forbade will beyond 1/3rd, you would have
found muslims bestowing to neighbors, friends, charity
organisations, cats, dogs, PETA, free minds and while
there own kith and kiths would be living in poverty,
in orphanages. This is the wisdom, Allah told him to
bring out of the Quran and enunciate. Allah has left
many things out of Quran so that people among us do
not try to demean the Prophet's status by relegating
him to be a mere messenger. A 'mere' messenger is not
expected to 'be followed, not asked to 'be obeyed in
submission and let there be no grudge against his
judgement' he is not asked to be ' over-ridden' and
yes he doesn't 'say anything on his own'. Had he done
so he would have been caught and chastised or even
punished!About praying during mestruation? Well, if one isn't
clean one can not pray. When men are not allowed to
even 'touch them', how can they be allowed to pray?I delibrately used the term 'touch them' to give you a
reason to go for a kill. But then my Prophet taught me
to 'touch them or approach them' means actual act of
intercourse. LEft to you, I would have to set aside my
wife during menses!Oh yes Quran interchangeably calls Salat as Dhikr, and
yes we are asked to remember our Lord or call upon Him
'not in a loud voice'.Seeing to different commands, it was my Prophet's job
(train them, teach them book and the wisdom) to tell
us that only three prayers need be recited aloud and
that too partly. The other two in whispers only.Quran tells us that out Prophet used to do something-
recite Quran? sitting in a Halaka?- during night and
so did his companions. We didn't understand what. So
Prophet told us he used to offer salah as it has
reached us.Also there was something he used to do during war
where he was asked to lead a Jamaat of some while
others would remain guard against enemy then the
remaining ones will pray. Now what exactly was the
ritual? And why such ardous command if Salat is not
what has reached us?If every body is free is decide how to offer Salah, is
there any sancitity of Masjid? Would everyone pray as
per his whims and fancy? Or a Free Minder will decide
and become the very scholar, mufti, prophet he doesn'twant anyone to follow?
Thieve should have his hand cut off. Again Quran calls
this act as a punishment. please read this Ayah and
the following Ayah carefully. If thief has is to be
punished till he returns then forget if it ever will.
Insane idea, even the 'cultured and civilised' west
doesn't behave as ridiculously. Welcome to the
Prophet! Even if Fatima bint Mohammad would steal I
would have his hand chopped off.In your case, the riches would pay back and enjoy,
only the poor thief would get punished. No wonder.
Unless you consider stealing only as 'going to a house
and picking something without the knowledge of owner'.So the scamsters of Share Market, Banks, Corporations
would sit back and enjoy the fruit of Islamic Shariah.Since Zakah has to be on 'excess', the current 2.5%
will go. I earn Rs.150,000/ and when I calculate there
is nothing in excess. I have to see my future and
deposit, my daughter has to study, get married, build
a house and what not. Each and every thing is a major
requirement. So Islamic State ( i doubt if you agree
wit the term) would be deprived of this amount, the
poor, the way farer, the worker, debtor...wow the list
goes on. No compulsory Zakah! And then an official from the free mind will be
assigned to calculate the 'excess'. He will be
defining what is an 'excess'. Buying a Mitsubishi
Lancer is an excess in place of Indian Fiat? Is
Mercedes and excess in place of Hummer. Is travelling
in First Class an excess? How big a room is excess,
how many shelves are an excess in a cupboard. What if
I file a case in Supreme Court disagreeing with Free
Minds's assessment? Since the decision will be given
by a learned Judge, would I be held accountable in
sight of Allah? The principle in Islam is to ask for minimum and
people will deliver maximum. Human nature is if you
ask for pound they will give penny. Who else other
that Allah will know of this better? So he asked his
prophet to ask for 'rotten stuff'. The Muslims gave
best 'what ? shall we give in the ways of Allah bad
stuff?'So minimum of 2.5% is levied. Spend what ever is in
excess, but 2.5% is must. (And he teaches them, trains
them in Book and Wisdom). His (Prophet's) whole life is sacred and witness to
Allah's grand plan. He says "La Amaruka"- teri jaan ki
Kasam (By your life). In your website you ask people to contribute, spread,
etc. Also ask them to correct you if found wrong. This
shows humility.I pray for you and myself. Oh Allah do not let our
heart go astray once you have guided us, bestow on us
from your end with Rahmat, you indeed are the provider.
AameenAnd the through Prophet taught" O our Lord show us the
right as it is and let us practise it, show us wrong
as it is and restrain us from it. AameenWassalaam

salam,
any forum you go to, any public place of religion, you will always find different opinions different ideas, we all share our ideas, but we dont have to necessarily agree. there is one truth and only one its our job to find it, so yes you will have crazy ideas coming out and you will have really good ones, but in the end its up to you to find the truth yourself for you and you alone, i hear people here say you are misguiding. there is no such thing, god is the the one who guides and he is the one who misguides, who knows who truely has the intention of finding the truth, and those who are corrupting the truth. so read what you will and give your 2 bits, but take what you want and leave what you dont. and for all please never say" you are wrong" because in the end we are not god to judge each other. -
peace noble_kf,
Can you please clarify as to where is the confusion about what is day and night in the article
http//www.free-minds.org/articles/science/quranic.htmAlso, it is interesting that you say for you it is clear when to stop fasting etc when Traditional Muslims do not begin their fast at the correct time anyway! It is clear in The Quran, one can eat/drink until morning twilight. I can only assume you have not studied The Quran and prefer tradition.
Making mistakes in your opening statement makes it all the more difficult to take the rest of your post seriously. Anyways, let's see what else you wrote...

The fact is the verse you refer to (2222) implies sexual intercourse, but is not explicit, thus leaves it open to interpretation, which means the meaning can range from staying away from sex to staying away from her altogether. Of course, the following verse 2223 does make it fairly obvious it refers to sex only.
I would read the rest of your post, but I can't take it seriously due to the above mistakes. Once you correct them and clarify, then I'd be happy to read the rest of your post.

Also it was his (Prophet's) job to explain wherever

I will jump to in answering your main question (Should we follow Hadith in order to be on the Straight Path?).
Answer
To be on The Straight Path, according to God, ones have to follow the Book Guidance. Now, I have a Question for you if to be on the Straight Path is to follow Hadith Guidance, which book of hadith is the true book? is it, for example, the Shia or the Suni Book?
Peace
