Is it really possible to wash our faces with beard? I don't think so...

Does face include chin? If yes then it is not possible to wash who have beard.
What? Is this some kind of a joke or coming out of ignorant people? Millions of people all over the world have beards for whatever reasons and wash their faces on a regular basis. Likewise, women and some men have long hair; so does that mean they cannot wash their heads? Strange as it is, its coming out of Muslim progressive fanatics.

I was NOT talking about IFs. What you said is different than what I asked. Actually, I was asking if anyone aware of any aayat that talks about beard, or can we conclude the beard is necessary from any of the verses of AlQuraan?

I hope you understand what I mean... It is a hot issue every where as I know.

        Khan

I was trying to say there is no verse in the Qur'an that supports this.
So the answer to your question is "No".

          salam fuhrer. you are mistaken.

the word quran means recitation. the torah is one of the recitations. if you ask is it in the quran, and i tell you it is present in the torah, then because it is present in the torah, it is present in the quran.

          therefore the answer is yes.

allah is the one who teaches.

No offense, brother, but what kind of logic is that? There are crazy things present in the Torah and New Testament that the Qur'an doesn't mention...should we accept those too? The Qur'an was meant to be used in place of the previous scriptures, not alongside them. If God felt that men should have beard, He'd have at least inserted a verse addressing the issue in the Qur'an. Even half a verse. He didn't though, so it should be assumed that having a beard is optional, and has nothing to do with God or religion.

            Sorry if I offend.

salam fuhrer. no akhi no offense. allah ya salmak iddayk.

i was taught as a child the same things as you are telling me. however, i read the torah and injeel. after reading torah and injeel and researching the translations, i was informed torah is in hebrew, and injeel is in aramaic. this was a big breakthrough.

when i studied hebrew and aramaic, i was surprised to find the languages are so close they are almost identical. then reading torah in hebrew and injeel in aramaic, i saw the translations are wrong. not just wrong in one place, wrong time and time again. i see the same problem with quran translations.

the source of your statement "there are crazy things present in the torah and injeel that the quran does not mention" is due to two issues. the confusion introduced by translations, and the mistake by compilers of the old and new testament of putting quran with hadith. they put the recitation of allah along with the stories of the messenger togethether, a bad mistake.

if you separate the word of allah, in the torah and injeel, from the stories of the messengers, you will find they match perfectly with the quran.
if you need assistance in discerning the two i am glad to help.

my understanding from reading the part of quran that is called torah is that i am fard required to wear a beard. therefore i wear a beard. people can have their own versions of a beard, from zz top model to small goatee, thats is mubah. i personally keep a small goatee, the kind you see on a lot of saudi men.

              allah is the teacher.

                Peace Khan

Yes the beard is necessary because it makes you look cool, unless you're a woman with a beard, that just looks wierd. No offense meant to women with beards. I'm not used to women with beards. peace

                  Salaaman Al Araf,

salam mmkhan. to paraphrase the torah, there is a verse in the torah that say do not round the corners of your beard.

the beard is not the only thing that differentiates men from women. would you as a man remove all those things that differentiate you from a woman?
why would a man look for reasons to look like a woman?
the way allah made you is perfect.

                  allah is the truth.

Do you mean we have to grow all our hair of every part?

Do we have to grow our nail?

                  Think about it again...

                  Khan

Did you understand what I asked? I was not talking about bath. My question is, is it possible to wash you face while abolution if one got a thick beard, because I believe that without proper abolution, Salaat is not valid as abolution is the compulsory condition for Salaat.

Can you please let me know your understanding about 2094, what could be the reason of mentioning Prophet Haroon (AS) beard to us.

do i have to grow my beard 10 or so inches long, because i think even with a little of neckbeard you can recognize a man from a woman

also i have seen many "alpha" males have no beards yet they do no considere themselves like females

First, I look terrible with a beard - never grows right/itches/and not too cool if going on a job interview. My wife also says it looks horrible on me.
