Geocentric Scriptures and Universe?

Critics of the Bible and the Quran started to have a very loud voice after the Copernican revolution. This opened the doors to evolutionary theory and atheism and the Scriptures became considered childish and primitive. People of faith tried to compensate by simply twisting the Scriptures to conform to this new scientific paradigm. Theists, under the Heliocentric model, will struggle with athiests through the grueling creation/evolution debate forever. I think we would better return back to the question Who rotate around who? Does the Earth orbits the Sun ? Or is the Sun is the one running in an orbit as we observe everyday?
Lets first look at some Geocentric hints in the Bible
Gen 1512 And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.
Gen 1517 And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.
Gen 1923 The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.
Gen 3231 And as he passed over Penuel the sun rose upon him, and he halted upon his thigh.
Jos 1013 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.
Psa 725 They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.Now unto the Geocentric hints in the Quran
2258 Did the news come to you of the person who debated with Abraham regarding his Lord, while God had given him a kingship? Abraham said My Lord is the One who gives life and death, he said I bring life and death. Abraham said God brings the sun from the east, so you bring it from the west. The one who disbelieved was confounded! And God does not guide the wicked people.
678 So when he saw the sun rising, he said This is my Lord, this is bigger. But when it disappeared he said My people, I am innocent of that which you have set up.
132 God, Who raised the skies without any pillars that you can see, then He settled to the throne, and He commissioned the sun and the moon; each running to a fixed destiny. He manages all affairs, and He details the signs so that you will be aware of the meeting with your Lord.
1433 And He committed for you the sun and the moon, both in continuity; and He committed for you the night and the day.
1817 And you see the sun when it rises, it visits their cave from the right, and when it sets, it touches them from the left, while they are in an enclosure from it. That is from Gods signs. Whomever God guides is the guided one, and whomever He misguides, you will not find for him any ally to lead.
2133 He is the One who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon, each swimming in an orbit.
2961 And if you ask them Who created the heavens and the Earth, and put the sun and the moon in motion? They will say God. Why then did they deviate?
3638 And the sun runs to a specific destination, such is the design of the Noble, the Knowledgeable.
3640 The sun is not required to overtake the moon, nor will the night precede the day; each of them is swimming in its own orbit.
395 He created the heavens and the Earth with truth. He rolls the night over the day, and He rolls the day over the night. And He committed the sun and the moon, each running for an appointed term. Absolutely, He is the Noble, the Forgiving.

http//staticearth.net/index.html Read this whole site. I know it sounds heretical. Makes SOME sense and interesting too. Click on the Tabs on the sites, they bring about different pages than the one that slides down. This is also true to the titles from which chapters pop sideways.
There is one argument that could be fatal to today's model. It is the one about the Eclipses. If the Earth rotates around its axis in 24 hours and the Sun is stationary( Solar system wise) and the moon takes a whole months to orbit the Earth, we should have a solar and a lunar eclipse every month which doesn't happen. How can you refute that? The Polaris effect is also very interesting.
I am NOT a Geocentrist yet but I am starting to like the idea!

There are many problems in attributing Geocentricism to those verses.
Firstly, one cannot take the words of man, since man is known to use common language.
And none of those verses attribute to specifically geocentricism. Anyway, you cannot know for sure without finding out, therefore what the Quran does there is to promote people to study what the Sun and moon are. Quran 555 really helps in that matter.

Just search the internet for "sun set" or "sun sets" and you will find millions of pages containing them us utterance of modern people who are not geocentric.... Interestingly, you forgot to notice the consistent description of day and night in terms of rotation of day and night rather than the movement of the sun...
As for eclipse... Obviously you have no clue about the earth being inclined around its axis and during its rotation around the sun, different regions of earth is exposed to the sun. Plus, the motion of the moon is cyncronized for not every year, but for 19 years, which is called Meton cycle. Your problem is simple Your ignorance of astronomy is leading you to the debunked geocentricity, which is a consistent direction the less you know about astronomy, the more you go back in history ;D

Thanks for the reply. I don't disagree with you but there is a pretty old experiment that prove that its the stars that move and not the Earth. It is called Airey's experiment. Because it contradicted heliocentric cosmology, they called it Airey's Failure.

What problem with eclipses...?
Forget that. Edip clarified it. It seems that are major problems with the idea that the Earth moves.
the bendover earth (alleged 'tilt' of the earth's axis - a desperately needed heliocentric variable that has no basis in the physical world where the sun simply spirals from the Tropic of Cancer to the Tropic of Capricorn annually. Both of these tropic latitude lines are not tilted - they are at a 0? angle (= parallel) to the equator. The word "tropic" itself comes from the Greek term tropos, meaning turn, referring to the fact that the sun "turns back" at these lines that aren't tilted in any way,
the earth supposedly jittering around the sun at various speed levels (it orbits at a faster speed at one time, and then it goes relatively slower at another - then back faster again) but somehow, all this alleged speed-change remains unnoticeable),
the moon also being dragged along exactly at those same speed levels (100% complete synchronization with the wobbly earth despite being hundreds of thousands of miles away from it(!) Now how about that?,
even atmospheric gas (the air) being attached to the earth's surface (again completely synchronized but somehow (simultaneously) free-flowing enough to blow in every direction). These are just samples of the never shown, never detected, never scientifically observed absurdities that are required to save the appearances of the heliocentric model.
