The Root Cause of Anti-Semitism
-
Peace,
Ever wonder what is the primary cause of antisemitism. It is simply this verse
Deu 2320 Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
Jesus condemned them in the Gospel of John.
Jhn 213 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
Jhn 214 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting
Jhn 215 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;God condemned them in the Quran
4159 And from the people of the Scripture are few who would have believed in him(Jesus) before his death, and on the Day of Resurrection he will be witness against them.
4160 Because of the wickedness from amongst those who are Jewish, We made forbidden to them the good things that were lawful to them; and for their deterring many from the path of God.
4161 And for their taking of usury(by simply following the 'Torah', while they were told not to do so, and for their consuming peoples money unjustly(Huh?!). We have prepared for the disbelievers amongst them a painful retribution.
4162 But those of them who are firm in knowledge, as well as the believers, they believe in what was sent down to you and what was sent down before you( ie. the Book of Moses that allow usury on gentiles?!); and those who uphold the communion, and those who contribute towards betterment, and those who believe in God and the Last Day; to these We will give them their reward greatly.
542 They listen to lies( the 'Book of Moses'?), and consume money illicitly. If they come to you, then you may judge between them or turn away from them; and if you turn away from them then they cannot harm you in the least; and if you judge then judge between them with justice. God loves those who are just.
See the anomaly here, God in the Quran say that usury was forbidden on the Jews. But at the same time talks about those who believe in the Book of Moses know this. This mean that Book of Moses we have today is not of Moses. Like the Book of Abraham and the Book of Enoch. They are all pseudo-epigrapha. Thats why Jews are punished throughout the ages and they will continue to be punished for fabricating lies against God. Is that why the Jews killed and denied the prophets for going against the pseudo-epigrapha called the Book of Moses as per verse
Deu 135 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.
Jeremiah critizise the Law
Jer 721 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.
Jer 722 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices
Jer 723 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
Jer 88 "How can you say, 'We wise, And the law of the LORD with us'? Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood.Isaiah bashes
Isa 663 He that killeth an ox he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, swine's blood; he that burneth incense, he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
Micah questions.
Mic 66 Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?
Mic 67 Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn my transgression, the fruit of my body the sin of my soul?
Mic 68 He hath shewed thee, O man, what good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?These prophets are so dead! ;D
Peace.

Scripture aside, behaviour of humans also play a part in anti-Semitism. I took an elective course on the origins of the Arab-Israeli conflict as part of the History program at school and it explored the beginnings of anti-Semitism. Theories include, the Jews killing Jesus which, with the rise of Christianity afforded them an excuse to murder groups of them during the Dark Ages when the Church was money and power hungry on top of being generally rather crazy. More basic would be with their practice in money-lending which the Christians could not do and their innate business sense that led to riches, jealousy reared it's ugly head and again, they were murdered because of human weakness. An anecdote of that time described the pain of Christian peasants who had to sell off family heirlooms and valuables to the Jews just to cover their daily expenses and this led to resentment over being poor in a Christian land while heretics and infidels grow richer.
I'm curious about something though, why do people use anti-Semitism to describe the behaviour of Jew-hating Arabs when Arabs are Semites too? Or am I mistaken and Arabs aren't actually Semites?

Most probably they are semites. But this Sem theory is only found in the Torah which is clearly a pseudo-epigrapha. Bani-Israel, at the time of the prophet, were tribes living in Arabia mostly Yemen. There is this guy that theorize that Bible came from Arabia. He is called Kamal Salibi. It is very weird that there is a tribe called Bani-Amr which could be the Amorites and the Amaleks are also an arab tribe. Was Bani-Israel an Arab tribe too?

Well, I'm not knowledgable on the history of the Arabs. What I understand about the term Semite is mainly linguistic which would mean that Arabic is a Semitic language though I do know that the term came from 'Shem'. I'm not clear on the ethnicity issues and lineage. There have been genetic studies done but I'm not too sure of the results.
