    Hey Zulu1,

    The right path!

Anybody is capable of recognizing it.

Even a blind person will recognize it,
A black person will recognize it.
A man of any nationality will recognize it.
A man of any talent will recognize it.

So what is this right path?

    peace

      Dear Simple

If as you say it is so easy to recognise by anybody regardless. Convince me of what is the right path.

I will leave you to educate me.

      Peace.

Shouldn't this be a private message to Zulu?

A person might be able to recognize truth... but when that person becomes part of a people, then things get a little more complicated.

          FAR

          I'm cool mate.

This message doesn't have to be in private because I am not ashamed of my belief. I am a Muslim. Period. But what I would like is for someone like Simple to convince me on the recognition of the right path in line with his sweeping statement.

          Peace

            Salaam Far,

Yep! when people put chains on you it's hard to break them - unless you are willing to cut those people off aswell.

            Dear Simple

            Salaam Zulu 1

Well you don't need educating - but just need to quite the pr-conceived ideas that you have been fed by people and start to use reason for yourself rather then what/how people believe- I think.

            Of the list I gave;
what do they recognize and all like-

in any language, by any name, what is it people recognize.

Rahman = Love and mercy without regard to effort and asking.
Rahim = Dispensing of grace and love as a result of deeds.

            That is the right path.

And when people get off this right path, just look to Sura nine, the sura is about retaliation to bring people back onto the right path.

Have you ever noticed that this sura about retaliation/ war is the only sura where you don't have Rahman Raheem at the start?

Just my view- yours to some extent - I hope.

            God Bless.

              Simple

              Many thanks for your response.

I appreciate your interpretaion of the right path, but unfortunately I tend to disagree, as it is not applicable to me. The recognition of Rahman and Rahim which are only some of the attributes of God is not the right path.

For me, the right path is Full Submission to God and accepting the totallity of the Qur'an and Wisdom and my way of life is Islam

53 (Y. Ali) Forbidden to you (for food) are dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah. that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

I do not accept the stance, that some people take in Qur'an alone applied with personal interpretation. I believe that the Qur'an is the first, foremost and complete source but do not rule out the Prophet's ways as his ways were in compliance of the Qur'an

1644 (We sent them) with Clear Signs and Scriptures; and We have sent down unto thee (also) the Message; that thou mayest explain clearly to men what is sent for them, and that they may give thought.

4413 How shall the message be (effectual) for them, seeing that an Messenger explaining things clearly has (already) come to them,-

I believe that the Prophet explained the Qur'an without a shadow of a doubt during his lifetime as stipulated in the Qur'an. If the Qur'an was to be understood and acted upon individually with individual interpretations as some people believe, then there would of been no need for the Qur'an to be revealed via the Prophet. The Qur'an could of been placed on earth in one whole part, put on a rock for everyone and anyone to pick up and interperate as they saw fit.

2129 "O our Sustainer! Raise up from the midst of our off spring an apostle from among themselves, who shall convey unto them Thy messages, and impart unto them revelation as well as wisdom, and cause them to grow in purity for, verily, Thou alone art almighty, truly wise!"

Furthermore, the Qur'an confirms the Scripture and Wisdom

2151 (Asad) Even as We have sent unto you an apostle from among yourselves to convey unto you Our messages, and to cause you to grow in purity, and to impart unto you revelation and wisdom, and to teach you that which you knew not

2231 (Asad) And so, when you divorce women and they are about to reach the end of their waiting-term, then either retain them in a fair manner or let them go in a fair manner. But do not retain them against their will in order to hurt for he who does so sins indeed against himself. And do not take messages of God in a frivolous spirit; and remember the blessings with which God has graced you, and all the revelation and the wisdom which He has bestowed on you from on high in order to admonish you thereby; and remain conscious of God, and know that God has full knowledge of everything.

379 It is not (possible) that a man, to whom is given the Book, and Wisdom, and the prophetic office, should say to people "Be ye my worshippers rather than Allah's" on the contrary (He would say) "Be ye worshippers of Him Who is truly the Cherisher of all For ye have taught the Book and ye have studied it earnestly."

381 Behold! Allah took the covenant of the prophets, saying "I give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you an apostle, confirming what is with you; do ye believe in him and render him help." Allah said "Do ye agree, and take this my Covenant as binding on you?" They said "We agree." He said "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses."

3164 Allah did confer a great favour on the believers when He sent among them an apostle from among themselves, rehearsing unto them the Signs of Allah, sanctifying them, and instructing them in Scripture and Wisdom, while, before that, they had been in manifest error.

4113 But for the Grace of Allah to thee and his Mercy, a party of them would certainly have plotted to lead thee astray. But (in fact) they will only Lead their own souls astray, and to thee they can do no harm in the least. For Allah hath sent down to thee the Book and wisdom and taught thee what thou Knewest not (before) And great is the Grace of Allah unto thee.

Some people believe that the Wisdom is the Qur'an thus the Prophet was teaching the Qur'an. I tend to agree with this position but also believe that the Prophet acted out the Qur'an thus showing people what and how to do certain things from the Qur'an which some of us speculate and try to figure out ourselves, thus the Wisdom part. The classic example of this is how so many people on this Forum have tried to explain, the salaat and hajj which is so inconsistent and confusing that one will assume the Qur'an is difficult and not easy and detailed as the ayats state. The Arabic term used for and according to my cousins is 'WA' which seperates the meaning of something, so I 've been told. Thus Scripture and Wisdom meaning 2 elements.

So you see, the part of being on the right path is very very important to me, because everyone seems to be claiming the trophy of being correct and I still don't have my comfort level as yet.

              Peace

                salam,
the right path is not something you equire rather it is a desire of wanting the truth and a better way of life, it is something when asked for received through god, and even after that one must search and study only through quran and once understood, only then have you equired the right path, only then does everything become clear to the mind and understanding of all things in life........ that is the true path...and it is only given to the very few, for it is only the very few who truly want it, as god says it is only the few who always follow, and it will stay that way till the day the good inherit the earth.......

Furthermore, the Qur'an confirms the Scripture and Wisdom

as for wisdom, we are not all so lucky to receive it with the book as the prophets were, as they new nothing of gods book they needed the wisdom at the time of revelations, were as we the ordinary people already have the book but not the wisdom, for us, as i said before will take time and intention of wanting to understand in order to receive the wisdom of the book, if we all had wisdom as the prophets we would not be in such divisions in thought.....the fact that all religions have been corrupted by manmade books you can say the quran has been covered to all eyes, many read, but only few understand they the ones who see are the true believers, and only god knows who they are......for everyone thinks they are

So you see, the part of being on the right path is very very important to me, because everyone seems to be claiming the trophy of being correct and I still don't have my comfort level as yet.

no one has the right to claim anything as we will all stand infront of god, he will judge who are the right and who are the wrong, we on the forum only give our opinion, and its your duty to find the truth,i will guarantee you one thing, you will know it when you are on the true path, its actually pretty simple just trust in god , read his book trust in him to teach the book and inshallah with time your eyes will slowly start to see.....

                  Salaams Zulu 1,anna,

I do not accept the stance, that some people take in Qur'an alone applied with personal interpretation.

Personal interpretation after a lots of research.

I am sure you will come to realise that there is some what of a quite a bit if not a lot of mistranslation in the quran.

                  53

Verily He has forbidden upon you The Death and bloodshed and to revile/vilify with pride and to do opposite to Allah or in accordance with other then Allah ? strangling, beating, repulsing/ repelling, corruption and that (you) devour by obscenity or lewdness, except that/ what is legal to you and what lawful/ clean / pure by labour/ toil and that you seek division by harm that is sin this day have given up all hope those who disbelieved of your religion so do not you fear them but fear Me? .

No animals in the quran- as far as i can see.

                  God Bless us.
